Hesitant to update my nightly IKEMEN due to trigger changes/removal

I'm still on a version of the nightly build from roughly late September and I heard that the nightly-build updates from October onwards made some changes to triggers that removed one in particular (getplayerid IIRC) that prompted POTS to update some of their characters to adjust to it, and I'm nervous to update it because I'm not sure what else in terms of characters/stages/etc. might break if I catch up.

I dunno if it's because of how the AI in IKEMEN's nightly build is calculated (I'm not on the latest version of it but again I'm not sure), but I feel like the AI on your latest versions of Reu's characters is very weak compared to earlier versions. Dragon Claw in particular tends to just stand around and do nothing, even on higher difficulties.

I haven't touched their files in any way after I unzipped and installed them, either.

So, uh, Lei-Lei is broken now because of that fireball reflection thing, it pops an error, something about clsnoverlap.

Yeah I think I'm having that issue too, after I decided to try and get a new IKEMEN GO build going in my Steam Deck; tag partners just keep falling out of the sky.
I'm on the latest nightly Linux version with the latest version of the active tag.

EDIT: Disregard, turns out it was because I still had the default tag.zss included in the config file alongside the activetag version, now it doesn't do that weird thing anymore.

I dunno if it was asked already, but is it currently possible in at least the nightly build of IKEMEN GO to have multiple songs assigned to sections of the menu (ie: main menu, character select, versus screen) the same way you can with characters or stages?

Does anything pop-up in Ikemen.txt?

Some of the errors regard "GL2" which implies something to do with OpenGL.

My computer is a bit old, so I don't think OpenGL stuff works all that well on it. Is there a way to turn off those capabilities on this version of IKEMEN like there was in other versions? (Because I dunno if there's a "config.ssz" file in this version)

Guys I need help getting IKEMEN GO to work.

For some reason when I open it, the window pops up but it's just a black screen for like 15 seconds and then it closes by itself.

I tried whitelisting the folder in Avast Antivirus (since there was a pop-up from it when I first opened IKEMEN) but it did nothing.

HELP.

So it turns out the Readme.exe in the zipped file was causing problems, so I temporarily turned off Avast and removed Readme from the .zip, and it's fine now. I deleted my last post now that I've got this update out.

Everytime I hit "Run and Record", my MUGEN window manages to pop up for a couple of milliseconds before the window disappears (not entirely, as it's still on the taskbar), and the Current FPS is at 0, although it's always leaving me hanging after 4 frames recorded.

Help?
