• The p1.mid.anim = 1,2 is not showing after any damage.  1,2 is my sprite for the lifebar being empty. I double checked
• The life bar is cut from the beginning despite having the range put in correctly, (negative numbers on the left for player 1).
  
• The life bar depletes the wrong way. This problem I'm not sure of, maybe i set the sprites wrong with the axis? Not sure how to fix that.
  

Edit: fixed 1st and 2nd issue lmao. Wow i feel dumb anyways since I'm here:

is there a way to make the face portraits smaller to fit in my lifebars? or do i have to remake them again?
Is there a way to add a layer over my portrait to cut the life bar? like this:

The chains coming from the ends of the blades look way better now. Can't wait to see an animated stance.

Trust me - I would love to show you the animated version that I'm working on, but I'm too afraid to post it here. There was an accident where I started a wip once with some custom stance animation, posted on a forum board, and it has been stolen from me. So, until I will be something around 25% done with the char, I won't post any more sprites - just screenshots (photoshop rendered) from Mugen. Try to undestand me, I really want this char to be done, done right.
