Had to fix some oddities with the download because of some random crap. Or maybe defender is just causing a false positive for whatever reason? ?_?

Whatever, next time before I release a char/edit or an update, I'm gonna check things out to see if everything works fine so that this garbage won't happen again. Boy, that sure was very strange.

Let me know if the download works, and if you have feedback for Relek, go ahead and tell me!

Quite surprised I managed to get my next character done just before December would arrive. Even still, I always had the time to work on him if I decided to. Anyways, here it is!

Relek

Screenshots:

Preview:

Gameplay-wise, he is a 6-button character that is a Fragile Speedster-type character. He has lower defence, which means he can be K.O.'d earlier. However, he has higher speed, both in terms of mobility and attacking. His moveset is largely based on his gimmicks from Tomato Adventure (the game he comes from), but some original ones do make an appearance.

Get him here: https://sites.google.com/view/dxgsmugensite/characters

Found any bugs, errors, or oopsies? Send me your feedback and I'll update him when I have time!

For me:

- Claymizer
  - Now, Claymizer surely wasn't one of the best Mugen content creators out there, as his characters, despite an amazing spritework, had noticeable balance issues. This was especially common with his 2007 chars, as they had some of the most noticeable balance issues, such as his V1 of Sonic having a very spammable projectile, or his Blaziken having OP combos. His 2008 chars were improvements as their balance was better, though some issues still remained, such as attacks feeling a bit too spammy or having weirdly large hitboxes. However, when I was younger, his Sonic was one of the first chars I've ever seen, and he is one of the reasons why I create content for Mugen too. Today, he's still active, but does animations now instead of Mugen.

- Madoldcrow1105
  - One of the most noticeable creators who made a series of cartoon characters for the engine, including some from video games, such as Kirby or Crash Bandicoot. His characters usually had a magenta/red outline which felt unique (though they did have a palette that had a black outline). His characters also had issues and haven't aged that well, as they tend to have infinites or infinite priorities, but I have a lot of memories seeing his characters back in the day. He's still active on DeviantArt but retired from Mugen due to random people bothering him about one game he was making with Mugen.

- NeoKamek
  - I remember seeing his Kamek a lot when I was younger, and it caught an interest in me, especially having some other moves such as Pokemon as assists(!), and some other interesting stuff. His Stupid Little Drill Tank is also a pretty nice boss character to mess around with, despite having some bugs, such as certain characters having attacks that make Eggman turn around instantly, resulting in an unfair hit. He would retire in 2009 due to receiving a lot of complaints that his fame was essentially based on copying the work of others.

Also, the character can not be downloaded unless you're registered in that webpage.

This was required in the earlier days. Now you don't need to register to download stuff from AK1's site.

I know how it feels when something overshadows someone's interest in Mugen. There are many people who have an interest in something else but then it is overshadowed by an interest in something else, while some have interest in multiple things and there are like... two things that someone is interested in and they focus on them.

For example, aside from Mugen and content creation for the engine (which I find a hobby for myself), I have a huge interest in Mario Forever and I'm a member of its community after really loving Mario Forever and many of its fangames, especially Mario Forever Remake, since my early 10s (more specifically, since 2017).  And I play Mario Forever and Mugen to this day, and my interest on them is equally matched.

I do feel uneasy when I hear a great content creator retire from creating content, either permanently or for an indefinite period of time, but I deeply understand why this happens, as every single Mugen content creator can be very busy with other stuff or have an interest in something else and it overshadows the creator's interest in Mugen. As a content creator, I also tend to be busy with other stuff, but I still find time for things I like, including content creation.

Overall, I wish you good luck with other stuff and better interest. Hopefully nothing stops you from enjoying them! :)

- Forgotten characters (you get the picture).

How forgotten? Something like Kishio's The Oc's? (for example, the Girl that I have as my profile photo in this forum is Miduma, Oc de Kishio), or directly unknown to everyone?

Pretty much characters that are directly unknown to most people. One example is Supermystery's Mega Mac Liquid(sic), released in 2007. It is mainly forgotten due to the fact that it is passworded and he later forgot it. Kishio's OCs are also good examples as they're kinda forgotten as Donald is his most well-known creation.

Wow, this looks impressive so far! Finally an iceberg that's gonna be more unique and won't contain that much stuff about cheapies! :)

Got some suggestions:

- Kong (known for his MvC2 characters that had inaccuracies, bugs and a cheap A.I. in their hard mode but contained some new stuff and even additional hypers).
- Forgotten characters (you get the picture).
- Characters using 3D models as 2D sprites (basically a character whose 3D model was used as 2D sprites).
- Claymizer (recognizable for mainly his two versions of Sonic, as well as his Pokemon and Kirby characters).
