Hello RagingRowen.

I like the initiative, I hope to see more characters in the future. What about to add Intro Storyboard for each character like in SFA?

Thank you for share your game.

I want to keep Arcade Mode kinda basic, and Story Mode will use text-based storyboards and match dialogue.

This version isn't just a simple conversion, I also added an extra stage along with balance changes for some chars and other tweaks for good measure.
You'll find more in the Changelog txt.

As for what's to come, expect Stories for each character based on segments of the SF Lore, Screenpack and Lifebar improvements, gameplay adjustments and more characters and stages of course... ;)

This is basically me at times. I wanna make my chars source accurate when possible, but doing so without the knowledge of CvS2 and such compared the likes of Jmorph and Karma is rather daunting.

My advice: If you 100% feel the burnout, you can maybe set her aside and release a beta version of her for the time being so we can finally enjoy her even if she's not fully-cooked.

The Namco roster is going to be more focused on Tekken and SoulCalibur, right?

Also, do you have plans to add Sega and Tatsunoko characters?

Yeah, but they'd probably get less chars than the others.

Hello RagingRowen.

I´m glad to see that other project is coming. I have a question about the title, I just studied basic so, my question is: The idea of the "Capcom X fighters" is something like "Fighters against Capcom"?

The X means Cross that can mean Crossover, so the X-Fighters refers to Fighters from studios Capcom has crossed-over with. The original planned name was 'Capcom Crossover Universe' but there's already 'Capcom Universe'.

Introducing my second full-game, where Capcom's top fighters clash against the various companies they've clashed with in the past, from SNK to Namco and so forth.

Gameplay:
To be casual about it, it's mostly reminiscent of MvC, with a select few twists.
There will be 4 attack buttons, and the 2 remaining buttons will be for Throws and X-tenders.
What's an X-tender, I hear you ask? Well they are universal combo extenders (hence the name) which cost 1/2 a bar to use.
The Standing X-tender is a Wall Bounce, while the Crouching one is a Launcher. I don't have plans for an Air variant just yet.
I made it this way so big lengthy combos aren't as free as they would be in the likes of MvC2 and 3.

Roster:
My main goal is to have the Crossover side take up about 3/5 of the overall roster, and Capcom will take up the other 2/5.
In conclusion, Capcom will have the most characters.
I still haven't figured out how many characters there will be in total, and I want it to be the perfect amount for both me and the players.
I'll announce characters gradually, likely two or more per announcement for a bit of balance.

SNK already stated they had something prepared, so I expect, if they're next game is another FG, a "now in development" teaser for it.

Small update to Orochi with some tweaks and fixes. Redownload.

 - Added a placeholder Crouch Turn animation. I completely forgot about this. :jackie:
 - Tweaked one or two hitboxes.
 - Upped Ukei's command's priority.
 - Better usage of Ho no Susori by the AI.

About that Takuma: He looks fine to me, but I feel as if he's either too wide or too short. I'm more thinking towards the latter.

Orochi released in Beta form!

What? You thought he was postponed? WELL YOU'RE (mostly) WRONG! I added small bits and pieces every so often over the past months and got most of him done recently during my break from Super Akouma.

In his current state, he's playable with his main KOF moves and animations, but there's a lot to be added and polish to be done such as Hi-Res FX, Throws, one or two extra moves, leftovers from King which was my template, and so forth.
Expect issues or things I missed before this release.

EDIT: Timing is (sorta) on point too since Team Awakened Orochi was announced yesterday.

Hey Guys, I haven't been around recently but I have been working on WIP's. The biggest one was my compilation game that I was making. I had over 100 characters converted so far and was on my way o releasing a beta. I was also making Mika Uraki and was almost done with her...The reason I'm saying this is because the other day when I got home from work, I found the house had flooded and my laptop where I did all my coding on was soaked and leaking water. Anyways it's not working and I might have loss all the data I had on it. I'm saying all that to say this, if you have any important data please backup your data. I was just thinking about it last week but I didn't and now I'm mad as $*#@. I have nobody to blame but myself... I have been working on my game for over 2 years. It's cool though I'm just going to take wait I know now and try and improve on what I have done. Also Gato might be my next WIP. I'm going to try and have more constant projects and releases. I've been learning a little of ikemen so the next version of the game I do will probably be for Ikemen. For now on I will be backing up my projects.

Damn. I've been wondering where that game of yours went, and, yeah, it's a shame to hear where it went.
I have my condolences for all that data you lost.

As for the mentioned WIPs...
I'm not really sure about you tackling more outlandish characters such is Mika, a KOF Mugen OC. I feel like you should stick to the likes of Capcom, SNK, and Marvel, or maybe put a twist on the system mechanics sometimes to fit the char, especially if it's from an Anime FG like Melty or GG.

Gato would definitely be a good choice. I'm curious to see what moves make it in. He's got EX Moves in KOF XV, in-case you want some ideas.

Yeah, these would definitely help in the process of creating 6-Button Samsho chars, mainly of the CvS kind.
