Congratulations on winning the Guardian Games in Destiny! Hunters took that trophy, like it belonged to them from the very start. :yes:

As of right now, I’m only able to dedicate around two days of the week towards programming & Spriting..! So don’t expect a vast amount of change, until a few more weeks from now. This is just the start..!

A friend of mine (thanewdude07, the gentleman currently working on an Original Sprite “Yusuke Urameshi“) and a couple of others I’ve keep in touch with we’re working on projects of their own, which laid a lot of the ground work for me (in terms of inspiration) to continue this project, & finish it to its fullest degree. What killed my inspiration early on was my old computer crashing & ruining all my progress. However; I’ve ordered the necessary tools to work on the damages, & retrieve the files needed to put myself back on the map.

While I was away, I gained a lot of external knowledge & more refined ideas for what I’d like to do with Natsu as a character. A lot of what I’ve said in the past still holds true, today. Natsu will be a Predominantly close range fighter. He’ll have some minimal ranged attacks, like some of the more obvious ones (fire dragon roar). But the rest will rely heavily on combo mix ups, that lead into command attacks. There’s more to come, so my exit post here will have more to showcase. Stay tuned for the weeks to come..!

One final note. In terms of inspiration; Destiny 2 was part of why I came back as well. I found myself investing a lot of time into its grind. Noting several aspects of the game i thoroughly enjoyed. Warlocks are my favorite class, and the solar element gave me a lot of fond ideas for what to do, with certain attacks.

Guess who’s been working on an Updated Natsu Dragneel, after an Absurdly long hiatus!? Any guesses!? Well here’s an updated Portrait I’m working on, to better showcase what’s to come..! How’s everyone been? Hopefully none are too upset after such a long wait. But it’s about time I dusty off my old work, & finish what I started back in my Youthful Days..! I told myself I wouldn’t update this topic until I had something to show, but I’m currently in the mindset of do it now; and think about it later..! I hope I haven’t missed much..!

He looks great, but I’m not sure why it’s giving off that illusion of him being wet. His clothes & hair sorta look heavy. If you can think of a way to possibly add more lift to his hair, & possibility lighten the shades, that may help. :yes:

Hey guys, I know this has been a long and running processing - but I’d like to call to your attention that I’ll be continuing this project starting Monday, December 11th. I took a substantial amount of time off, which I dedicated to family, & other projects I’ve been working on..! However with those things aside, I’ll have the free time required to pick back up where I left off. There’s a lot I’m still very excited to show you guys, and since the failry tail manga has long sense finished - I don’t have to worry about material I didn’t include. Though do keep in mind that this version of Natsu still only goes as far as the grand magic games, so I still wouldn’t want anyone to set their expectations where they shouldn’t. So with all that being said, do expect to see some progress in the coming days/weeks.
