Interlude and After Years weren't really fun to play honestly. I got bored of the two of them before I manage to complete them, even After Years, despite how many new things they added. Maybe I was burnt out from beating the main game, I suggest you take a break from it before you move on to the additional content.

Herk is a good Servant to grab, as it can lessen the biggest problem of Berserkers, which is their survivability, thanks to his dodge, his BatCon and his Bond CE that gives him even more BatCon. Carmilla is also a good option, specially with how little gold Assassins we have that are not limited. She's really good IMO, I still stick with her in the Japanese version. Apart from that, EMIYA is also good after he gets all the upgrades, but he needs a lot of love to turn him good. Once you do, he has a lot of good options.
And as for the rest, Elizabeth is much better as support than attacker, Stheno sucks, d'Eon is a tank that will lose effectiveness in the future but early in the game he/she's pretty good, Marie is LOVE, Siegfried is just average in all regards, Tamamo Cat is an okay AoE Berserker at this point of the game and Martha is an excellent debuff/buff removal Servant and that's all she's good at.
And I'm glad to see the English release has attracted new people, it's a fun game IMO.

Yeah, I didn't like it at all, and I admit I'm a bit bitter here, I was a fan of The Mummy movies and while they had their flaws, I still had fun watching them. I thought the last one would be the lowest point but oh boy I wish I could go back to the past and tell my past self of how wrong I was for thinking this.

Hack GU is being remastered, and will appear for PC and PS4. I myself have played all the Hack series, GU being the best ones as the combat was far more fun and the story and character growth more interesting (you don't really need to play the first series to understand some things, though having some knowledge will bring some smiles to your face due to nostalgia). Though I admit is still a series that either you love it or you hate it, due to some design choices that I also question sometimes.
Fortunately, I've read what they bring new to the table and it seems they're bringing changes that will make the experience much better, the best one being that not only is it merged, but also that the first part of the game will use the same gameplay changes that the other parts brought which I support 100%. If it's also optimized with framerates, I think it's a interesting experience to go through.

Honestly, I'm not so happy with the idea of a sequel for this game. Part of the charm in doing a new generation is discovering the new Pokemons and deciding while you advance in the adventure your favorite party setup after fighting or trying them, regardless of what you have to face in the future. This is something I will obviously not do for this sequel since I already know what party I want to use, and they don't introduce new Pokemon except the Ultra version of Lunala and Solgaleo, which don't appeal me at all. Also, having to retrain Pokemon that I already have trained is personally exhausting, even if they give easier ways to do so, because I would just rather grab the ones I already worked with. Also I enjoy visiting a new area for the first time and exploring it as if I never checked it, which if they just reuse the islands this won't happen except for new locations that they will put.
I said all that since I myself bought Black 2 in the past and I never finished it, as they just reused the villains we already fought before, went to a lot of the locations we already went in the prequel and frankly the story was meh and I had more fun dealing with the situations of the prequel. Of course they may pull out a completely different game that will not make me feel like I'm just doing the same as before, but honestly, the track record is not in their favor so far.
Also there's a Pokemon movie thing that basically gives you a battle script that you follow as if you're making a movie with Pokemon, which is pretty unique, and even though there's not a lot of flexibility, it's fun to make movies where a Ludicolo saves the world from Aliens.
I want to comment about this part, specially the bullshit involving it. Sure you can make fun movies with it, and will let you even use your own Pokemon if you've done it once and was successful. But this is one thing that they should have removed RNG. The bullshit I encountered here in which I followed the script of what the game wants me to do, only for the opponent to get a damn critical or me getting one, or specific effects triggering when they shouldn't have and screwing it all at the last minute is frankly enough to make me hate this thing. This should have been better as a puzzle or similar, don't add RNG to something that requires specific conditions for better score.

Edit: Oh, it seems they didn't include the weight of Meltlilith's high heels in her measurements, but they added it for her height, which ends up in a bizarre result of 190cm tall and a weight of only 33kg. Those who have Passionlip, how does this work for her?

You cannot transfer accounts, so most likely none of us will go to the US version, unless you're willing to go through gatcha and story again, and hell naw I will do that (already got a Jack and no way I'm going through this again).
At least there's no bans, though afaik DW is not suicidal when making decisions, and banning part of your fanbase would have been a bad idea, specially when they contributed with a lot of money (but then again some companies do make those stupid decisions so that was still a possibility).
And yeah, the translations are meh, the name of the story chapters suffers from the same. Don't expect anything stellar from it honestly.

As if that's going to have any effect. In fact, it will probably cause the opposite effect. Not a great move here Atlus, though the way it's written feels like Atlus USA doesn't care about that, but it's being pretty much forced by Atlus Japan.

I've been following updates and haven't seen much from Skull Servant decks, but I'm not 100% sure of that, with so many cards released so often. Maybe after the new update they will make to the whole Yu-Gi-Oh gameplay, it will allow some decks to have the opportunity to get more support.

Tl;dr your deck is not good honestly. You see, focusing a deck on Red Eyes doesn't mean there's supposed to have only Red Eyes in your deck. Red Eyes will be your main force, sure, but not your only force. Seek other cards to support them, monsters, spells, traps and extra deck. Keep in mind also that Red-Eyes is a level 7 normal monster, and normal monsters also have benefits that effect monsters can't have.

You don't really need to restrict yourself to 40 cards only. There's no problem having one or two more cards if your deck truly needs it.
And yeah, this deck has no chance to win in the current meta. Without being able to do fast summons, you have no chance against any current meta decks honestly. Doesn't even have Synchro nor Pendulum possibilities, and barely has potential with XYZ Summon. Fusion Summon possibilities are quite lackluster too due to being slow too. Can't really give more advice than that honestly, you won't win a lot with this deck.
I would suggest you base this deck around Dark Magician, specially using the Secret Village of the Spellcasters field spell card, which has lots of possibilities with Dark Magician decks.

Dragon Quest VIII [3DS]
So yeah, I played this port of the PS2 version. And this is the third 3DS port that I played, that I've been left completely satisfied. I'm not going to comment about the game, but rather the changes I personally liked or not:
- First of all, all monsters appear on the map, and not as random encounters (except when you're in the sea for some weird reason). That means you can evade combat if you want, and having experienced the high encounter rate of the first game, this is a really good change. Also, due to being able to spawn monsters by just looking away, this makes spawning metal slimes really easy, which shortens some of the grinding required in some parts of the game (Dhoulmagus and the extra dungeons at the end, and that's pretty much it). It also makes it easy to get a specific monster for drops, though the drop rate is still bad.
- You get the maps of every location, even the world map, from the very beginning, and can be easily seen from the lower screen at all times. Which is something I approve 100%, as it's now extremely easy to check it. The chests with maps are replaced with money, which is something necessary in the game since getting money in the game takes a lot of time at the beginning of the game.
- You can, from the very beginning, create items through alchemy without having to wait for it to be created. This was an update that you would get really late in the game. Also the game tells you what items you can make alchemy when you select it, which again is good. It makes recipes found in the world kinda pointless, though having them on the Internet already makes it worthless so yeah...
- New dungeon with new boss, plus another additional challenge dungeon in which you can fight against strong versions of the bosses, which adds new challenges in the game. I am okay with this.
- There's also two new playable characters, Red and Morrie... but honestly, they're not that useful compared to the original four. I just can't classify Red with some useful role, and while Morrie has some nice buffs and skills, he's a glass cannon, something not so useful in late game if he can be one-shotted from attacks that other characters would easily survive. He does make it easier to grind slimes as he has a 100% crit skill if it hits, just like the Hero and Yangus.
- Music seems worse. I think some lack orchestra. A pity, some of the soundtracks were excellent due to that. Graphics have not changed that much though, unlike LoZ which got a massive improvement, but yeah, can't compare graphics from N64 with PS2 games.
So yeah, it's a pretty good port. I hope they make more of them. Hopefully we see more in the future.

Pucci was fine, he was a random entry in the usual JoJo fabulous line, who just happened to be dark skinned with white hair - and in typical JoJo fashion, his hair wasn't just on the top/side/back of his skull, it was spilling on his face (these weird line sideburns) and his eyebrows, making him so random it was unique - so not a stereotype. This is so tryhard edgy gangsta garbage : nearly shaved cut with those lines above his ear, black, guns (dual wielding), handcuffs, bullet zoom, explosion of blood, some sort of meaningful tattoo in the back - this is just a compilation of every single terrible edgy gangsta stereotypes, it's the stock image you'd expect to find in a dictionary entry of "gangsta". It's a problem because it's all of this at once, Pucci is only one third of that.
And Pucci still had some charm, honestly. Emiya Alter is just unlikeable. They clearly didn't know what to do with him.

Oh, so apparently there's a new mechanic. Now we have a purple bar as health apart from the red one. It's there to prevent you from killing the boss in just one insane combo. If you surpass the purple health bar, you get a Break and do 0 damage until next turn. I suppose that's the only way they can prevent Buster Brave combos with crits with Merlin.
Btw, equip Evil Servants. No doubt about it. You get an insane amount of BP for them.

Edit2: Oh, and the other two Servants are Hessian Lobo AKA King of Currumpaw (Wolf) and unsurprisingly Yan Qing. Yeah, the Servant is the wolf in the first case. Btw, moveset and NP here, alongside ugly Emiya:

Edit3: And last edit, and one with bad news. The only reward we get from this story is a grail. Emiya (Alter) is a 4* Story Servant. Since the current gatcha I believe is not story gatcha, feel free to roll instead of beating the story first.

And at the same time that Pokemon Bank has become available, GTS has turned even worse than it was before, multiplying the requests of people wishing for a non-existant person that would trade their legendary for a Squirtle. God, I had some success with seeking a trader in GTS sometimes thanks to not having Pokemon from other generations, but now it's just impossible. Back to requesting I guess.
Still, I am glad that Pokemon Bank is finally available. After the many hours I put for Mawile and Blaziken with HA, no way I'm leaving them behind. I also like this feature that updates all the Pokedex with the global info of all of your games, though I don't really have much use of it since I basically have a copy of every Pokemon.

I just can't classify Red with some useful role, and while Morrie has some nice buffs and skills, he's a glass cannon, something not so useful in late game if he can be one-shotted from attacks that other characters would easily survive. He does make it easier to grind slimes as he has a 100% crit skill if it hits, just like the Hero and Yangus.
- Music seems worse. I think some lack orchestra. A pity, some of the soundtracks were excellent due to that. Graphics have not changed that much though, unlike LoZ which got a massive improvement, but yeah, can't compare graphics from N64 with PS2 games.
So yeah, it's a pretty good port. I hope they make more of them. Hopefully we see more in the future.

Pucci was fine, he was a random entry in the usual JoJo fabulous line, who just happened to be dark skinned with white hair - and in typical JoJo fashion, his hair wasn't just on the top/side/back of his skull, it was spilling on his face (these weird line sideburns) and his eyebrows, making him so random it was unique - so not a stereotype. This is so tryhard edgy gangsta garbage : nearly shaved cut with those lines above his ear, black, guns (dual wielding), handcuffs, bullet zoom, explosion of blood, some sort of meaningful tattoo in the back - this is just a compilation of every single terrible edgy gangsta stereotypes, it's the stock image you'd expect to find in a dictionary entry of "gangsta". It's a problem because it's all of this at once, Pucci is only one third of that.
And Pucci still had some charm, honestly. Emiya Alter is just unlikeable. They clearly didn't know what to do with him.

I mean, it's really cool and all, but how am I supposed to swallow that he turns like that as a Servant...
Btw, his NP is Catastrophe Crime.
Edit2: Oh, and the other two Servants are Hessian Lobo AKA King of Currumpaw (Wolf) and unsurprisingly Yan Qing. Yeah, the Servant is the wolf in the first case. Btw, moveset and NP here, alongside ugly Emiya:

Edit3: And last edit, and one with bad news. The only reward we get from this story is a grail. Emiya (Alter) is a 4* Story Servant. Since the current gatcha I believe is not story gatcha, feel free to roll instead of beating the story first.
Back to crap rewards I guess.

And as for the Chinese Assassin, the majority agree that he's Yan Qing from Water Margin because of the tattoos. And as for the last one, haven't seen anybody reaching any other conclusion apart from the obvious one being Headless Horseman... though he's not precisely riding a horse here.

Still, I am glad that Pokemon Bank is finally available. After the many hours I put for Mawile and Blaziken with HA, no way I'm leaving them behind. I also like this feature that updates all the Pokedex with the global info of all of your games, though I don't really have much use of it since I basically have a copy of every Pokemon.
