At work i hear alot about workers experiences with 360's and PS3's, hardly any from the Wii.
the one friend i know who had a Wii sold it, and the other friend who got one did so cause it was red
anyway, to each their own, it all depends on what you really want the console for. Everyone i know with a 360 (including me) use it for the online social aspect: talking with friends in Parties and playing LIVE with a bunch of your friends, although it does cost money for online. everyone with a PS3 has it because of the BluRay and free online, but i hear less about them playing with a bunch of people
personal experiences: Comes down to what you want from your console. IMO a 360 is good for Gaming, not so much for movies (even though i LOVE my netflix and movies, i rarely watch anything on it) and PS3 is the contrast to that (Has BluRay for ridiculous picture quality, but not alot of friends i have or people with it that i talk to really use it to play games online more)
then there are the exclusives for each console: Halo, Gears, etc for 360 Killzone, LittleBigPlanet, etc for PS3
@Everyone: keep the we are dumb fucks spamming this site for ten yearsry of Console "Wars" out kplzthx
got it for like 5 bucks. pretty good, like it more than MW2
what. where?!?
my place of employ. only 5 bucks out of my pocket i meant. had some money i made off the sale of some electronics so i used that money. 55 bucks from easy money, 5 of my own.
for what the game actually is, i am severely disappointed with it
the games physics are fun as hell dont get me wrong, and the gaemply is good *read, not great* but what pisses me off is the games length. i beat it in 2 seatings. 1 seating of about 1 1/2 hours and another i finished the game. the game is so damn short its not even funny, and frankly it actually pisses me off. it took me alot longer to beat the 1st game than the second one.
the story is supposed to be about finding out whether or not youre a clone, but as soon as yoiu leave it turns into "wheres juno". then theres the giant thing that doesnt even look like it belongs in a star wars game.
such a disappointment, even the damn collectors edition i baught for 45 bucks didnt even make it seem worth it. i was looking forward to a game that i thought would take longer than the 1st but it ended up being a hell of a lot shorter. a friend of mine beat the damn game ON RELEASE DAY.
my rant about game length aside, i did enjoy some parts of it and the graphics are actually pretty good, but was angry at it overall. anyone else enjoy it?
i absolutely love love love this game. it is indeed very difficult at times, and to some it does feel like its imitating GoW, but IMO it starts to feel like its very own later on.
The magic system is pretty good, requiring you to actually manage your magic as apposed to just using it for a fight. if you dont have enough light magic youll get a bit frustrated, seeing as how its the only way to heal yourself if you dont see a healing font
Combat is awesome, there is a wealth of moves that look badass and prove their worth the moment you use them.
Puzzles....are aggravating at first. sometimes youll find a puzzle that you had no idea how to solve cause the game doesnt really tell you that you can use something else to solve it. IE there is a puzzle that requires you to hit a switch and then run across a bed of spikes to get to a gate that just slams shut in front of you. Game does NOT tell you however that using Dark Magic on your daggers lets you use them to hit a switch.
overall i seriously love this game. the design and graphics are awesome and its just...awesome, you either have to play the demo to get a feel for it or dont buy it. i of course had to get the collectors edition, which is sweet since the case is a book =D
