The arcade game was distributed by Exidy in North America as Bandido, but unfortunately failed to catch attention. Not even Taito's clone titled Western Gun Part II was successful:
I cannot believe many people aren't interested enough at even appreciating VF1 as it was so innovative back then it became featured in the Smithsonian Institute Museum somewhere. It even got figmas and a Mii Fighter costume dedicated to the Model 1 polygons.
Despite all of this, people still haven't even gotten into extracting 3D polygons from even older games like VF1 for instance.
My reason for this is one word: nostalgia. I'm one of the few people who appreciates retro polygons.
My attempt at ripping the polygons with AnimGet didn't look reliable enough, especially without the ability to show only the polygons. Using the F4 key doesn't help.
I hope there is someone who has everything it takes to get at least Model 1 Akira Yuki into not just MUGEN, but elsewhere like maybe Miku Miku Dance (MMD).
Method 2: Seems difficult for me to find the right driver for the MicroSoft Surface Pro 2 8GB RAM tablet PC. Posted: May 26, 2016, 01:29:37 pm It's this stage that I am trying to run. Other OpenGL stages do work.
After installing 1.1 and adding a few 1.1 stages, they don't seem to display, but cause character sprites to trail. Some say "OpenGLScreen" fixes the problem, others said leave it on "System".
Any ideas?
