Circus Charlie's Circus



Wanted to give some representation to what I consider an underlooked Konami arcade game. I know his fans have more nostalgia for the nes port, yet I grew to play the original arcade thanks to the Nintendo Ds's Konami arcade classics.
Sprites were ripped by me with mame and the background slighly altered to represent almost all stages of the game.

A stage I have done to be used as Warner Cortez's Donald home stage. Decide to release it today as a tribute to Donald Duck's 88 anniversary (9 June 1934), adding many references from Donald's cartoons, comics, and duck lore.

If you are a fan of cartoon characters, and you're just looking to have a nice and fun time fighting toony characters, here are a few I would personally recommend to anyone wanting to see more of this world:

Mulambo's Pingu

Anything made by Warner (Simpsons characters, Family guy, Donald duck): Gameplaywise, the characters may be a bit basic from modern M.U.G.E.N standards, and may come with latin-american spanish (some english voicepacks are hard to get from some characters) yet I admit they are still fun to play, have nice spritework and do a good representation of how these cartoony characters would play in a legitimate fighting game.

The none's Beavis and Butthead: Not only does this duo have fun and polished gameplay under their code, they look like they were ripped just from the cartoon

Jenngra505's Numbuh 3 and some edits he made from DDR creations characters

Anything made by Shimmering Brony (Vicky, Panty, Stocking)

I can see why someone who haven't watched Squid game yet can be confused at these at first glance, but there's not need to worry, I can assure you they're a part of the original stage itself. In the Squid Game series, these were holes where hidden guns were placed to eliminate contestants who lost the game, establishing the dangerous nature of the seemly innocent games.

I just think Puzzles like Tetris, Layton, Pang, puzzle bobble or Puyo Puyo (or Robotnik Mean Bean Machine) among others are neat
