I get where you're coming from but do we really trust Marvel right now to handle the nuance needed to even handle this situation. Also, literally making Magneto and Prof X black would be so on the nose it wouldn't be funny and honestly would take away from it in my eyes. Because regardless of the allusions X-Men had, they were a team of diverse members brought together. The white people included lol.

 They weren't just a singular race but they were a giant family. Mixed with different races, nations and creeds. Also, contrary to popular belief a lot of us are tired of being shown the "black condition" or racism, slavery, discrimination analogs directly connected to us. Black people are way more than that. Sometimes we just want to see the Master of Magnet or Wolverine get down and if anything besides Storm and probably before Bishop, Wolverine was probably the blackest member of the team to us lol.

I don't know, i just see them mucking this up and turning this into some, white man bad, all minorities perfect and life ain't that simple. Who am i fooling, they are definitely going to do this. Lol.

In the end i have received a lot of enjoyment from the MCU and can't complain too much if it ends up time for me to move on. Can't enjoy all things forever.

As much as I enjoyed both Dr. Strange 2 and Thor 4 I'm really worried about the quality for the next films. It's reaching Resident Evil: Retribution's ridiculous fan service. The mid and end credit scenes aren't getting me excited anymore.

regarding your comments on giancarlo playing prof. x, i don't think it's a matter of "pandering" specifically, but rather he's renowned for playing characters who are intellectually cunning and powerful, in control of most situations (gus in breaking bad, stanley in the boys). his characters usually border on arrogance and he's also great at playing men losing their control (gus in s6 of better call saul). i personally think he would play a fantastic prof. x but thats just my opinion.

since its' early days, x-men as a concept has been intertwined with the civil rights movement and the struggles of marginalized peoples, so i personally don't see anything wrong with casting people of color as prof. x/magneto. and you're right on with hoping feige and co. use the full scope of mutants in the mcu. imo i don’t wanna see wolverine anything for at the very least the first "mutants" movie.

I could argue that the civil rights angle was just happenstance, i mean the idea for the X-Men came about because Stan Lee was tired of coming up with different ways of characters getting powers. Even if that wasn't the case there are plenty of diverse characters in the X-Men, plenty of "Representation" if that's your main objective. No need to change an established characters race, then what stops them from changing other parts of the character. It's not needed in my opinion and seeing their recent history leads me to believe it's all for the wrong reasons. Plus, if you want to shine light on a diverse character, do it with an actual one. This just feels kinda like black/white/whatever race washing when you do it this way. Especially when you have an entire large roster to work with.

Yes, it's like they are treating all the characters as jokes or switching their personalities to fit the current narrative whether it makes sense or not and not even doing it in a creative way.

I have one character in mind.

Yoshitora Tokugawa, the main protagonist from Samurai Showdown V.
Unlike a lot of choices he hasn't been converted multiple times or has a stand out version in mugen.
He's a great all-round character as far as play style with a stand out look.
I think since he isn't a typical pick. Him being created would be more unique.

From the states, Atlanta, Georgia to be exact. We currently have 1 death and 146 cases. The good news is we have some of the best medical facilities around, including The CDC. The bad news is people are only now starting to take this situation serious. We also have the busiest airport in the world which in and of itself is an issue in this situation. Most none essential places are closed and the mayor has limited public gatherings in conjuction with The CDC's recommendations. I predict our numbers will increase here but as long as its not at a rapid pace we should be mostly fine. I do believe this is going to be going on for a few months.

I'm really starting to wonder how many of you actually played the versus games. If Cyclops can be adapted in a pseudo CVS style without losing his specials, so can Captain. I think you guys are letting the optics of his moves change how powerful they actually are. That's why I never was a fan of warus version, it was like a different character. You can give him his specials without making him overpowered. Why neuter him, I agree with DW. I don't see the point of making essentially Warus version again but that's just my opinion.

On the bright side Moon Knight, She Hulk and Blade. Sam as Cap wasn't great but having winter soldier with him may help. I get less excited about Eternals the more that comes out. jane thor is actually good what are you talking about. it's a pretty good story and it's a limited deal anyway ... well if they follow the comics which i doubt.

That's why opinions are like assholes, we all have them. I think Jane Thor was pandering, I thought the writing was all over the place and any time you shit on established characters or a entire gender it's just lazy. All to build up a character that we didn't even need. Just to help hype up all new marvel. Build new interesting characters, of course not. Let's just shoe horn people into place. Now, Unworthy Thor was excellent. In my opinion that is. It seems they are trying to head in the all new direction and most of those characters were failures. I can understand why, #diversity which isn't in and of itself bad but it's the way Marvel comics has chosen to go about this.

Really solid Demitri, the power charge did throw me off for a little bit but he doesn't need it. I like how you came up with a elegant solution for the midnight bliss. He looks really great, has a good mix of moves and i can't stop playing with him. Can't wait for the hi res fx and if people really want a power charge, there is another Demitri with that. This one is awesome without it.

253 damage on the ex demon cradle out of teleport seems a little high, higher than both his level 1 supers but other than that i didn't find anything on a quick play through. I assume no power charge is on purpose. Good stuff.
