Oh yeah for some reason, you have to connect a normal then cancel it into the super in order for it to work. Using JUST the ariel super with no cancels doesn't seem to work. I should mention that too lol.

At long last..! However, Guts Man's QCF+KK (in the air) has him stand in the air after use.

Ops, lol. Guts Man was a last minute work, so I expect some issues. Thanks for the feedback.
edit: I tried to execute that hyper move on air but I can't.

Finally, here is the last updated character for the next release: Guts Man.
This character was needing a big udpate, so Laspacho and others fixed his sprites and I've recoded a lot of stuff from the previous coder.



The redundant moves where removed, new power sets were added and some new hypers too. I know there is still room for more improvement and maybe I will work on him later but, for now, I think he is okay.

The video shows his power sets and some AI fights, where you can see some of the new moves.

With this update, the Robot Master Mayhem project is ready to be launched, and we should be uploading it in January 30th.

Elec Man has a scalable AI, so the higher you set the game difficult, the harder he will be.

Some AI (level 8) fights, plus showing:
- Custom intro against Guts Man and Wily

O AlexDX4 decidiu lançar a Demo, já postei em todo lugar que pude lembrar, agora falta falar um pouco sobre ela aqui
Fizemos tudo pra lançar a demo em dezembro, e já temos planos pro ano que vem, mas a demo foi feita um pouco as pressas, houve bastante pressão de quem estava acompanhando e de quem ajudou no processo, percebemos que muita coisa ali poderia ser repensada, então o Alex vai trabalhar na marcha lenta novamente, pra fazer modificações sólidas, pra melhoria do jogo, assim o próximo lançamento fica indeterminado.
Ele disse tambem que vai focar no Patreon, em breve os patrons terão acesso ao Sigma, e as mudanças no jogo serão soltas por lá. Claro que quando o jogo sair, será publico, mas até lá, poucas coisas virão ao público, exceto claro videos e imagens e noticias sobre o jogo.

Eu percebi como ele se sentiu pressionado a lançar essa demo e como correu pra terminar, espero que agora ele faça tudo a maneira dele, sem dar tanta atenção às críticas externas.

Entendo bem seu argumento sobre lançamento e pressão. Em ter que equilibrar a data de lançamento com expectativa e realidade.
A gente queria muito ter lançado o RMM 3.0 em dezembro mas não teve como e tivemos que postergar pra 30 de janeiro. Eu to correndo que nem um louco para lançar isso - o que inclusive já deixou de ser saudável pra mim.

Mas tivemos que fazer isso, pq lançar algo incompleto eu acho pior do que não lançar, especialmente se fica visível isso. Vc acaba gastando cartucho à toa.

Sobre o projeto, achei interessante. Como comentaram, só a fonte padrão do mugen me incomoda um pouco. O efeito que usaram na tela de versus (se abrindo pra cima e pra baixo) é igual usei no Mega Man Powered Up, fica bem legal. O zoom me deixa um pouco dividido: por um lado, ele aproxima a câmera dos personagens pequenos e deixa eles maiores na tela (o que é bom); por outro, qualquer pulo já mexe no zoom, o que deixa meio complicado de se acompanhar.

Tbem pensei nisso sobre Patronos, mas como o jogo não é só meu, não tenho como fazer isso.

The new boss of the Robot Master Mayhem project is finished: Metonger Z :)


Now you can see his two forms in action. Each form has 6 different attacks.
First form is more projectile based (zoner) and will fly to avoid to be hit, so you will need to jump to reach him.

Second form is easier to be hit, but only takes damage on the upper area (it will blink in yellow when hit).

We are very close of the release and I hope to finished everything this week, so we can release it in January 30th.

It has two forms, changing when he loses the first round - the video shows the second one. To damage him, you need to hit the upper area (where the Met is). If you hit the lower area, it won't cause any damage and works like a block.

It's good look this old project alive again.

PS: Friend, you remember of Bruno de Souza char? You have this char?
Maybe It's a good idea for a new char in rooster. It's good for a nostalgia taste. I can make the required sprites, If you want.

I have all the characters from that project - the authors gave them to me and I can use anyone I want.
But I am not sure if I will use them - at least, for now. We want to finish this at least.
Then we can think about an update someday.

There is a char I need to update - MB-03, aka Virtual Weapon (one of the 3 weapons built by Shadaloo)
She has a ability to morph herself into many different characters for almost every animation (including walking, crouching, etc) using 3 different options per animation.

In some of those cases, she could morph into some non street fighter characters, like somes from Darkstalkers and Jojo (no Marvel*, KOF or any other company) but, after those years, I am not sure anymore if Darkstalkers could fit - Jojo will be removed for sure. Today, we have way more options to choose from Street Fighter, Final Fight, Rival Schools and Captain Commando.



What do you guys think? Should Darkstalkers be removed from the character or they are okay?

I can't work on her right now, but its something I would like to hear opinions.
PS: *on the past, she had a power drain move which would work against some Marvel characters, but this will be changed and it will work only inside the Spec Ops universe.

Red Cyclone can access "Obsidian Body mode", where he gains super armor and can use some fire based moves like this.
