Wow, that Waluigi reveal was weird.

Seriously though, I was indifferent whether Sora got in or not (was plenty more characters I would have preferred, but, at the same time, we could have gotten so much worse), but considering all of the hoops Sakurai and Co. must have went through to make it happen, I couldn't think of a more fitting character to serve as the "ultimate" Smash Ultimate character.

Was thinking about getting it until I realized I wouldn't ever even see the improved screen, since I keep my Switch docked most of the time. I'm tempted to get that dock though.

Finally, the elusive Metroid: Dread reveals itself. 2D Metroids are always my favored entries in the series, so this reveal pleases me greatly (not to mention those excellent amiibo figures!).

And, yes! WarioWare! I'm glad they're not waiting over half a decade to release a new one. I dunno how I feel about the game's gimmick yet, but I'll buy it regardless because the more Wario, the better.

Might get that new Mario Party game because I need one for the Switch and Super Mario Party looked too bland and soulless for my liking.

I'll have to scoop up one of them LoZ Game and Watch systems, maybe two. I wonder if Nintendo is going to make a series of these things based on their different franchises?

Other than that, the direct was serviceable. Lack of a Switch Pro announcement makes me a sad panda.

Being a bit of a Johnny-come-lately, but I finally tried out the Miitopia demo. And I must say, it's actually quite fun. Was playing with my two younger brothers watching, and was getting a kick out of filling all the different roles with what few Miis I had on my Switch at the time. I enjoyed it enough to move all my Mii's over from my 3DS and Wii U in order to have enough to fill the roles of the other NPCs. Might go back even further and move some of my old Wii Miis over as well. Still gotta figure out the mechanics and whatnot, but I'm definitely considering buying it.

Couldn't get logged back in for like three weeks, what'd I miss?

New character? Again, disappointed, but at least this disappointment has a nice rack (or two).  :mlol: I was not expecting them of all people to be revealed. As per my usual custom, I'm not gonna try her until I see my little bro so we can experience it together, so maybe I'll wind up liking her a little. Kinda nice to see a 2-in-1 character again, takes me back to the good ol' days.

Not gonna lie, I was saddened seeing the Arthur Mii costume. I normally don't care about the Mii costumes "de-confirming" characters, but I was literally talking to my brother about how dope it'd be if Arthur got added (fresh off of GnG Resurrection coming out).

And those patch notes... good lord, those patch notes.

Not much changed where I am. Still no confirmed cases in my county as of writing. Our office lobby has to be closed as of 8 PM this evening, so it's gonna be a lot less noisy anyway. I really hope we don't get ordered to shut down, cuz the last thing I wanna do is work from home.

I live in Kentucky, in a very rural county. Started gettin' concerned about this whole thing about a week ago, and now I'm very concerned. No confirmed cases in our county  yet, although there are rumors of a case in the county. There are cases starting to creep towards us from the outermost counties. Schools are closed, non-essential businesses are supposed to be closed, and restaurants are carry-out and delivery only.

I work at a CPA office, and I don't believe we're going to close unless there's a government mandated shutdown of all businesses. My boss and a coworker are working from home, and half the people at the office are freaking out and considering staying home, which won't make things any easier for me and my other coworkers.

I'm not worried about myself, I'm worried about my grandparents. They're in their 60's, 70's, and 80's and all but one of them are in rough shape as it is. As someone who has lived minutes away from their grandparents their whole life, it's killing me to not go over there and see them. I'm afraid to go hang out with my dad and brothers as well, since my dad goes up to take stuff to my grandparents and I don't wanna risk passing it along to my brothers or dad to get it passed along to my grandparents. It's been my weekend routine my whole life to go visit all of them, and now having to abstain from doing it out of fear for their well-being isn't very fun, to put it mildly. It's funny, my daily routine itself hasn't really  changed, but just the fact of knowing what's going on seems to give off a strange vibe.
