Disastrous year overall for me. Only 2 new SSRs at the tail end of the year(Okuni and Kama) after the previous 2 years had 7 and 9 new SSRs.
First week of the year got me Koyan twins, so things are looking up.

Wait, really? I thought it had its own timeline. Well, lets hope they use this opportunity then. Its really a shame that Maximum Impact wasn't given any attention after Regulation A, not even in that mobile game.
It kinda does. MI is seperate from the main KOF timeline in that it follows more closely the FF timeline but otherwise does its own thing.

SNK doesn't have the funds to optimize their game to work on an underpowered system.
NRS has that WB money to back them up. And even then, I would be surprised if the game doesn't look like crap, runs well and isn't some cloud edition.

Did I miss it or is there no PS4/XONE version but there is a Switch version?
Hate to say it but I might wait til the following year to cop. Tired of buying games then have to buy all the numerous DLC packs just for it all to be bundled together for cheaper months later.
Capcom is notorious for that. There’s gonna be about 3 different versions of SF6 lol
That's pretty much every fighting game. DLC gets released over time and then at the end they bundle it up on discount.
Thing is, Fighting games are at their best within their release windows. It gets harder to get into one over time.

I don't think either Lili or Alisa are that important. Yoshimitsu, on the other hand, is a perfect attendance character, and outside of him the only other character I'd consider a "must have" is Hwoarang. Anna and Lei should be too, but they've been sidelined so much in previous titles.
Lili and Alisa are very popular characters though. They're pretty much guaranteed to return and at this point you're not going to have Asuka and Lars respectively without them.

Except those two (and before that, Leona, who was a part of a previous banner, and before that, Athena, who was the focus in a Battle Pass, all in the past two months of this year) were all involved in that Senran Kagura mobile game, as well as the IP itself having a collab with '98 UM Online not too long ago.
Seems too much of a coincidence that SK is inbound. Not to mention having a roster suitable for an all EX class.
Counterpoint: Athena and Leona weren't in the same banner. Meanwhile, Mai and Kula are sharing their banner. Incidentally, those two were the DLC KOF characters for DOA6.
I wouldn't take into account what collabs the other KOF game has since they've never shares them between games.
It's not impossible, but I don't see it here.

Given the fact recent new banners have been waifu baits, don't be surprised if Senran Kagura becomes the collab choice next.
I mean...if we're using Mai and Kula to guess what the collab will be, my money would be on DOA6 rerun first.

In the devnote that like groundhogs pop up once a year before hibernating in the shadows, they've admitted that thanks to Catsuit Ivy, the majority of content can be cleared within a matter of days and was the cause of this sudden drought of anything new.
LMAO.
The majority of content could be beaten within a few days with several of the EX characters before Catsuit Ivy was a thing. It just so happens that Ivy was given away for free while still just as ridiculously powerful as the recent units they released. What did they think was going to happen when they didn't put the damn brakes on the runaway powercreep train?
Any new content will get shredded by the recent characters and if they make challenge content to take into account the powercreep, they have to offer a huge reward for clearing it or people are going to be pissed. One of the Deimos base events had this exact issue happen.
Yea, game is on its last legs.

How many times you got angry and lashed out at someone because they called you out? The fact that you even did this toward staff says a lot.
The last time you were allowed on the discord you were explicitly and clearly told that it was your last chance and that the next infraction would be a permaban. You didn't last a day.
You want to know what's unfair? The fact that we were generous enough to give you so many chances and leeway for so long despite your behavior that would have gotten anyone else thrown out much faster. We gave you multiple breaks. When the gloves came off that should have been a tip that we were not fucking around anymore. Instead, you choose to double down on your behavior and continue.
I'm glad you did this post. You just proved us right and affirmed that the decision to get rid of you was the correct one.
