Didn't find a whole lot to enjoy last year, to be honest, but "Hyrule Warriors Legends" and "Pokemon Sun" kept me happy.

The BFG
Review: I thought it was very good for what it was trying to accomplish. I always like to see a 21st century movie that paces itself well, and unsurprisingly, the John Williams score was very nice. The giant himself is also quite charismatic.

It's looking to blow 2016 out of the water for me. I can't wait for Zelda, Cuphead, Yooka Laylee, Mario Odyssey and (hopefully) Xenoblade 2.

Hyrule Warriors Legends
Still every bit as addicting as it was a year ago. A perfect game for when you have 5-10 minutes to spare. I just have a few more 4+ weapons left to get, and doubt I will stop until I've 100%'d all 9 maps.

I'm not the biggest fan of Toon Link, but I do feel he would have been more visually pleasing than the Link we got in ALBW.

Shadow Hearts: Covenant
The battle system in these games is really satisfying and it is very refreshing to have another RPG series out there with a more original enemy variety than your run of the mill slimes, snakes and wolves, but by the time I hit disc 2, I was pretty burnt out. I also found the soundtrack to be a little less engaging than the previous series entry.
