I'm trying to make a few minor adjustments to certain attacks that change the opponent's state or otherwise apply some sort of effect to their sprite. Normally the effects only last for the duration of the animation, but I would like to change it so that the effects persist indefinitely if the opponent is KO'd by the moves that applied them.
For instance, if a character has a move that flattens the opponent's sprite for a moment, how would I change it so that a KO'd opponent stays flattened until the next round/results screen?
Re: Does this thing exist?/who is the author?/etc. thread.
I've decided to redact my request since I most likely misinterpreted what I read regarding a particular character, and also because I learned that the specific feature I was looking for does not work in 1.1. As such, I would like to ask about what I was looking for before:
Are there any characters that can temporarily shrink an opponent without restricting the opponent's movement? All the characters with shrinking moves that I have found so far freeze the opponent in place for the duration of the effect, so the shrinking is functionally just part of an animation and not an actual status effect. Basically I'm looking for something akin to Anakaris's Pharaoh's Curse and similar transformative moves except it scales the opponent's sprite down instead of replacing it with an entirely new one until it wears off.
