So now v3.0.0 has been out for a month and v3.0.1 was released not too long ago, I think now's a good opportunity to go over what's in store for the game's future:

  • Major tweaks and/or revamps for some of the lesser used characters, namely Yuuka, Ichirin, and Chen, as well as others yet to be determined
  • Two new possible boss characters: EX Yukari Yakumo and EX Lie Meiling
  • Inclusion of predetermined character-specific Arcade mode routes, so different characters will now have different final bosses
  • More focus on story mode dialogue, including character-specific Arcade intros & endings

Regarding the first point, a rework of Yuuka is already under way and may be available to the public within a week or two, before being included in an official game update. Just a highlight of what she's now capable of:

  • Removal of 360 & 720 motions. All of these will now be replaced with half-circle motions
  • Yuuka's two primary command grabs, Soil Tilling and Creeping Thyme, have been merged into a single special move. In addition, Yuuka now has an optional follow-up move to these grabs that allows her to launch the opponent
  • Flytrap now puts the opponent into a special dizzy state that Yuuka can easily follow up from, rather than putting them into a crumple state
  • Flowers in the Wind has been completely redone from scratch and is now a DP motion
  • Removal of Thorny Rose and the addition of her Flower Parasol Charge special from IZ Yuuka, giving her a much better approach tool
  • In general, Yuuka's command grab supers are now much more flexible and can be used in combos under the right conditions

There was a minor corruption in the Full download for 3.0.1 that caused certain character's graphics to become corrupted. The file has been reuploaded with the necessary corrections.

Users who updated the game by applying the 3.0.1 patch to a preexisting installation of version 3.0.0 are not affected by this.

- Illusion Rift [Aerial version]: No longer turns to face p2 on startup.
- Illusion Rift [Aerial version]: Now has a separate animation that uses the regular aerial hurtbox.
- Boundary Between Mind and Foot: Recovery frames are now flagged properly.
- "Chen/Ran Yakumo": Characters now cast shadows.
- "Quadruple Barrier": Fixed an issue where the incorrect damage scaling variable was being used.
- "Danmaku Bounded Field": Now freezes the timer if the grab successfully connects.

How do you think you caught it?
how did you get it?

My best guess was that I must have contracted it from taking public transportation into the NYC area. No way to know for sure though.

just asking , did you felt like you were fine in the morning then felt sick again couple hours later? like your fever goes on and off.

Not initially, but later on it started to feel like that. Usually if there was any kind of vertical movement involved (ie: standing up, going up/down stairs, etc), that's when I felt at my worst.

glad you passed it, do you have another family member also affected by the illness?

Fortunately, no.

Anyone who has spoken to me on Discord and/or has followed my Twitter probably already knows this, but seeing as I didn't mention it here yet, I might as well; I tested positive for the coronavirus during the last week of March and was pretty much bedridden for almost 3 weeks.

The last two weeks weren't that bad, but the first week was hell; constantly fluctuating fever, chills, loss of appetite, elevated blood pressure, dizziness & nonstop coughing fits from doing things as simple as standing up, and night sweats that left me dehydrated; due to the latter I had to constantly drink fluids, but because of the loss of appetite I had to drink Gatorade just to replenish whatever nutrients were lost. Once the fever broke and stayed that way for a few days, things started getting better for me for the next 2 weeks, but the cough & shortness of breath mostly remained.

Fortunately I'm back on my feet and things are much better now, but I figured people here would be interested to hear a first-hand account from someone who had it.
