Love what you did here. Especially the parallax on the floor and looping the music. I'm seeing 2 problem though:

The bottom of the floor cuts off when fully zoomed out which makes a black strip. The top of the stage cuts off as well when the characters are high and its zoomed out.

Looks like you need to edit the bound high/bound low to fix this stuff (or z-offset for the floor)

holy shit man this is exactly what i've been looking for in a blazblue mugen conversions. Something that is source-accurate to Centralfiction and not Cross Tag for obvious reasons. Cool that you listed all the softwares/tools you used to extract the data. I recognize Hipster as I've used it to do palette conversion in the blazblue improvement mod.

Can't wait to try this out.

Great work as usual.

I do have a small suggestion:

For 16:9 versions using a 320/180 localcoord I prefer both the startzoom and zoomin to be 0.75 rather than a higher number (Learned from Beterworks Tutorial)

If you're like me and use a combination of  4:3 as well as 16:9 stages then setting the 16:9 stages to 0.75 makes the size of the characters uniform regardless of the stage dimensions.

Lastly, I keep the same relative zoom difference of 0.15 by 'increasing' zoomout to 0.60

So if anyone else is interested I made the following changes to the 16:9 def:
zoffset = 163 160
startzoom = 0.75 0.8
zoomout = 0.60 0.65
zoomin= 0.75 .8

These type of stage edits are extremely underrated quality of life changes imo.

Something about those parallax floors are so memorizing lol good work

Done:
-Fixed lower and left bounding issues with camera panning out of stage graphic range
-added duplicate ground (sand) sprite to fill the left gap and added another bush graphic
to also fill the gap.
-Cleaned up some spriting artifacts in the trees
-Decreased the zoom to .75 which fixes the character sizes making it similar to 4:3 local cord size.
-New music track
-Fixed the issue with the missing docked boat (blue boat to the right) by correcting the window mask numbers
-Also adjusted the position of the boat and the dock to end at the right edge of the screen similar to the original stage.

To do:
Loop music if I ever figure out how to do it in FL Studio. If someone else knows pls lmk

neat tutorial my only question from that video is how did you make it so there's more room to add characters in the select screen

In your screenpack's system.def file under [Select Info] you have to edit various values through trial and error until you are satisfied.

such as:

rows =
columns =
pos =
cell.size =
portrait.scale =
p1.cursor.active.scale (& p2) =
p1.cursor.done.scale =

Default System.def's usually have loads of comment descriptions next to the values so use those as reference.

Another optional step is going into an image editor (Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, etc) and manually resizing the Random select icon to fit your newly altered cell's. I could also make a brief, condensed tutorial on that.

I also made a tutorial (albeit years ago) in which I add select slots, increase size of cells, icons, etc.

This was ported from the Ikeman Stupa Training char? Very interesting.

To my knowledge Mugen 1.1 and lower never had proper training info on display like typical fighting games.

Will def try it out and report back.
