So, I was using Orochi Kyo's Tag system (which has been awesome). I switched the debug to P3 and found that when Mileena runs in (either when teamleader is defeated or thru tag when mvc1switch turned off) P3 changes to states 7828 and 7829. When I test with two Kens in tag, he doesn't change to those states. I went into Mileena's system files and commented out those states, which got the tag working! I'll need to check the Mileena code more closely to see if I'm creating other problems though, ahaha.
I've been testing out a bunch of characters in Ikemen GO, and a small handful of them, when I tag them in, don't move, and I can't control them. For example, I was using two Mileenas (tag) vs Ken (solo), and when I tagged P3 in, I got a debug error of "WARNING: Ken (58) in state 0: has no enemy: 0". Ken's attacks just go through Mileena and no damage is done. When P3 Mileena is tagged in, her State is 56110. She is unable to tag out, and the only button that works is menu. Mileena does work as P1 at the beginning of the round.
What would I need to check or change in the Mileena to get her working as tag P3 or P4?
This is ADD004 by "Shiyo Kakuge", maybe you can test it. Don“t forget to make a back up, just in case.
Thanks. I actually wanted to incorporate ADD004, but decided to go with Orochi Kyo's Tag system, which may conflict with ADD004. The video shows the tagged in player swapping names and health bars anyway, rather than it staying static.
If I'm playing tag mode with Ken and Ryu, then the fight starts out with Ken's name and health bar on top, and Ryu's on bottom. But when I tag, Ryu's is then on top. Is there a way to set it so the name and health bar don't swap when I tag?
I'm using mugen 1.1 and patched my mugen and characters with Uno Tag Patcher v2.1 and type R v4.1.
When in tag mode, if a player doesn't tag during the round, and their primary character dies, that player loses the round. Is that normal?
Note, if the player tags, and the secondary character dies, then the primary character automatically tags in.
How do I make it so that the secondary character automatically tags in and the player doesn't lose the round when the primary character dies (regardless of previous tag)?
Thanks. Posted: July 27, 2021, 11:03:31 PM I'm also able to replicate this loss when:
Player 1 has full health, tags in Player 3. Player 3 has full health, tags in Player 1. Player 1 dies. Results in a loss round for the tag team of Player 1 and 3 (instead of Player 3 automatically tagging in). Posted: July 28, 2021, 04:27:24 AM I figured it out. In case anyone has the same problem I did:
Options > Team Mode Config > If player KOed > set to "AI keeps fighting" instead of "Team loses".
