For "remastered" I hope it means a MVC2 totally recreated from scratch and not a simple porting.

But above all an MVC2 totally rethought in terms of plot and character roster, but with the original gameplay.

If the making hasn't started yet, I'd like to suggest to them the roster this MVC2 remaster should have.

That would be a "remake".
"Remastered" is usually an hd port with a few filters and bells and whistles.
MAYBE a better netcode if lucky.
Don't expect any more tbh

Grats on Dan's Beta release RR!

I know he's still in beta but here's some feedback to help you fill in the gaps:

- Standing HK's hitspark is a bit misaligned, I think it should be higher
- Standing MP's hitspark should be slightly lower
- Standing LK's hitspark is misaligned
- Zenten Chouhatsu doesn't have a voice sample
- Level 1 Hisshou Buraiken doesn't come out
- Ground EX Dankuukyaku doesn't have EX flash for the entire duration of the move

Overall Dan looks really promising and I like where this is going!

Very cool, I'll have to play her and dust off Street Fighter X tekken again for some ideas on feedback, congrats on the release

She's loosely based on her SFxT incarnation with some Tekken flavor.

A more faithful SFxT conversion of her moveset wouldn't be possible Geyser Cannon and Rolling Dash (including followups)

due to her current spritesheet.

Glad to see you give more justice to these sprites.

Chucho created so many characters base, with only 5% of the coding.
I sounded so frustrating.
It's now promising to some more Tekken characters will have their chance too.

Also, to me, this Anna spritesed is not that good.
The result would be good by using Dampi'r best spriteset of B Jenet as a base.

It's a real shame because some of these Tekken character(s) (sprite sheets) are really worth salvaging.

Others had potential but it looks like he gave up halfway during the creation process and moved on to other things.
I'm not thrilled about those Anna sprites either but I wanted to give the character a nod, she deserves it :)

(I really hate that his King spritesheet is so limited, I would have loved to see him in Mugen)

 

Chuchoryu clearly has talent but no focus, and this is without all the drama (which I did a readup on)

A quick peek over at MMV showed nothing has changed, last page of his thread had someone calling him out on a commission

he never delivered and him making excuses about his sister's pregnancy or other family stuff.

Anyway, I'm not here to create a thread denigrating Chuchoryu, it is about salvaging potential Mugen characters.

 

Hopefully Nina won't be the last Tekken character I or anyone else will port over.

Well this basically inspired me (and I had some time off lol), the amount of Tekken characters in POTS style is way too low (and this is coming from a guy who prefers 2d fighters XD )

Anyway, here's Nina version 1.1, I hope you enjoy and feedback is always welcome!
I used Chuchoryu's sprite sheet and RagingRowen's coding base to work off.
The amount of sprites are limited, so I had to do some recycling here and there.
Sadly sprites don't do well when it comes to limb breaking and such compared to 3d models, so don't expect any arm breakers, she has counters though! :)

I'm not the biggest fan of english voices, but sure, it's always good to have options.

I get you, personally I have preferences on both sides (usually nationality based)
Characters like Akuma and Kazuya (i.e.) are set to japanese, otherwise it's blasphemy lol.

Others like Cammy, Guile or Wesker are a must to be in English
(CvS2 Cammy and Guile VA still give me nightmares XD )

In the end, to each their own and like you say more options is always good.
