I would also add that he should come back when he knows how to read, because apparently he can't even do that.

i think this a dark souls of a mugen forums.

why is everyone bullying me. why are you making fun of me. that is just disrespectful.

What the heck are you talking about? What are you smoking? You talk about people being disrespectful while you say random off-topic shit, calling people out for no reason.
If you have nothing else to say about this topic that was already said (What happened to Elecbyte?), then I kindly suggest you to shut up.

Pillow shading is a term used to refer to a certain type of shading which doesn't take into account the shapes of things and it's generally done by "hugging" a light area with dark colours.
In fact, if you look at the arms, more precisely the one on the right (the yellow part), you will see that there's no real shading: there's the outline, then near all the outline pixels there's the darker yellow colour and in the middle there's the light yellow colour.
For the chest it's more or less the same thing.

Managed to modify her colours to keep the count at 16. Once again, credits to Riklaionel for his original Songbird sprite (from which I took most colours) and to Sean Altly (for his spriting method).
Spoiler: Original Version with more colours for comparison (click to see content)

- You lost some shapes when trying to edit Cassandra from ROTD to Songbird. In fact, look at the knees and the chest.
- There's no set light source, her arms look pillow shaded.
- The face also doesn't look CvS styled enough. Try to use some of the original CvS spritesets to guide to make one.

Also, Elecbyte stated on his Twitter page on May 4th, 2016 that they are not retiring. It's 2020, the covid-19 pandemic is still present, and no news from Elecbyte.

You misread that, they said they're not out of retirement: that means they're still retired and they don't intend to return.

Look at previous posts. The links are there. There's my post that has links for each one, there's Lurker's post having all of them in a single file.

Block a whole site because you can't post a picture? Well that escalated quickly.

Uhhh... I think you don't see the issue.
What he's doing is essentially spam.

It's like me saying "hello, here's my site" everywhere and posting gifs for no reason other than posting gifs.
Like a bot.
He's not a bot, but he's behaving like one.

So, "huh, block a site for a picture" is a terrible understatement. Either be on topic or don't and face consequences.
Not to mention when I checked one of his posts I saw a NSFW gif, so...
He said he removed it, but I still don't trust stuff like this.

It is, but you contributed to this topic. So there is no problem.
Honestly I didn't think people would post sprites in this topic, the topic starter made random theme threads without consulting me.

In any case, good sprites! Welcome (back?) to the forum.

Hmmm... adding an explod where you have the hitspark is one way to do it.

trigger1 = movehit
trigger2 = movehit
trigger3 = movehit

they're the same thing, you would just need one trigger, since it's the only one it reads.

The other way is to make the entire hitspark + blood a helper. Now I'm not sure how they're coded, since I haven't done that, but my suggestion is to look at PotS's Geese and/or Jmorphman's Ken and see how those are coded. They're basically multiple effects coded in a helper (or more, depending on the strength of the attack).

I'm sorry I can't be of much help.

I keep forgetting I set my page to view 50 posts instead of 20 or 25.
But hey, didn't I post a link? Didn't you click on it? That was the context, then you could have just read the following comments.
