Probably never.
Only finally getting around to this. Haven't played in over a year or so.

- I personally feel new characters should wait for a new entry at this point, I'm not exactly moved.
- When you have 70 or so characters, "style" overlap is inevitable.
- She reminds me of Leroy and that's not good. Not surprising, balance has gotten kinda wack since Murray started manning the ship.

At least she's not smaller in game than in the cut-scenes. Or edged out in tattoos, yeah I was not impressed with modified Sagat. :P

Hearing Huber had passed away was sudden and saddening. Nice that AEW really gave him a proper tribute.

I love this new crossover universe. Kinda gives a vibe of the times before the 1980s.

I love the work you're doing. I work with 3D too, I appreciate that other people are getting into it as well.

Sakura isn't perfect by any means, but 3D animation is very difficult. If it were easy, everyone would be doing it. Wish I could help more, but I'm not good with MMD. I work in Blender instead. Can't wait to see her finished. :)

Benimaru
The pose is stylized to look "dynamic" for lack of a better word. It's intentional and very much in character. Pretty much what Walt said.

Sakura
Her keyframes are weak compared to SFIV. Whoever did her posing could've done better in giving her motions more "whip." SFV animations are fine for the most part, Sakura unfortunately got a lower quality motion-artist. :P

But why can't SNK 3D models move smoothly like SFV or Tekken?
Their stiffness looks as if it's still PS2 era.
3D KoF animations are throttled in a way where windup to strike is too sudden, giving a unsmooth, "spastic" feeling. Probably intentional to emulate 2D sprite games as much as possible. Also makes sense since some animations date back to KoF XII.

KoF has always been about what's trendy for the times. In the early and mid-90s, it was simple looking characters that could easily be cosplayed. Later on when the more popular JRPGs introduced more elaborate "fantasy" designs, SNK followed suit. I really wonder how Ash, Liz, and Duolon turn out if mainline-KoF was 3D when they debuted.

I like the new characters in XIV. They give KoF a nice, modern flavor to mix in with the older, legacy cast.

Still business as usual where I'm at. I'm in a small sized city.
I'm sorry for everyone who lost someone or had them fall ill.

There's no way country can mass control this thing. Contrary to some of the dum-dums out there, there are countries who've done it right and still can't contain the spread. I don't agree with lockdowns, causes people to lose their job or business (making money is kinda important) over something that has no effective workaround, outside of protecting yourself and others. The problem is too many selfish and inconsiderate people, who are ignorantly anti-science. No cure for stupidity, so can't be helped sadly.

Much better debut trailer than XIV, even if that was a bar so low you could walk over it.

Excited to see who'll they'll add in this game. :)

Seriously the worst guest reveal I can think of since Cole McGrath, one of the many great ideas from the masterpiece known as Street Fighter X Tekken. Numerous other characters to choose from and they decided to go with... some faceless derphead from a B-rate game, where neither fandom cares much about the other. That's cool, I suppose.

Iroha hype was fun while it lasted. :(

Irresponsible officer (a just system would see the little shithead get hanged or stoned) caused a massive shitstorm because he couldn't help but to kill an already cuffed suspect. Duh not all officers are bad, but you win and lose as a team. Police force and their supporters have to hold that L.

As said before, this is years of pent up frustration. Not just at police brutality (that was the catalyst and the main point of discussion), but at the overall oppression of Black America.

For decades, politicians pump perverse incentives (excess welfare) into the communities, mainly to black women. Then use the racist labor unions to keep black men out of work. Which in turn causes them to be rejected by their partners, because the government is a better financial partner. And then turn to crime, drug use, and other vices. Breaking up the family unit and causing an overwhelming amount of single parent families. Then the wealthy prop up and glorify a irresponsible and hedonistic lifestyle (promoted by hip-hop, the popular stuff anyway) and tell young blacks to emulate these people. Which in turn produces more blacks for the police to profile and/or to turn into a statistic. The end result is decades of generational decline.

This is modern day black oppression. It has little to do with slavery or segregation, contrary to what the masses would have you believe (reparations are totally laughable and will do nothing). Media has blame as well for excessively stoking the racism angle, selling anger and outrage to an already downtrodden peoples. That's for a different rant though.

It's not a coincidence that Black America is beginning to reject the Democrats, mainstream ones anyway. Sure they're not going Kanye-level Trump supporter, but they're tired of the empty gestures from all these white fox liberals (as Malcolm X called them). This is why despite everything going on, presumed opponent Biden is still not overwhelmingly favored to oust Trump.

I feel awful for the innocents being swept up in this. Looting and vandalism is wrong. I don't like that it's being justified, and it neglects the numerous people the lawlessness effects (person themselves, family, friends, etc). As for the mass protesting, this is something that do-nothing urban politicians and dipshit officers had coming to them for a long time. Take responsibility.

thanks Ned! totally agree with you, animations is pretty hard at the moment, keyframes, and timing is hard to fit the style for me, and positions sometimes is hard to create to, moving bone by bone, this Angel is just study, i improve it a bit, but sure i don't go to finish any move, i will finish Sakura and update it slowly on next days, updating moves and frames as i can, i receive permission from Varo Hades to use her Sakura and make a sprite swap and some changes, so, she will be playable in pots

I really enjoy seeing your progress.

I mess around with 3D as well, there's so much potential with models in Mugen that hasn't been explored yet. And I'd like to make characters much in the same way you're doing, although I prefer making my own models. XIV's artstyle is pretty weak, Neo-geo Angel is definitely better.

You're definitely getting better. It can be tough to get animation right because there's so much that goes into making natural, handcrafted movements. Just keep at it, practice makes perfect. :)

I like F,B,F better too. It's more unique, but it's harder to hit confirm from it. Move doesn't come out if you start with DF, so it's hard to cancel crouch MP or HP into Zanretsuken. HCB makes it a bit easier to do.

Yeah it's definitely weird that Punch Dance is done with Kick, but I didnt want overlap with Fireball. :P

2. The Overcharge is a bit lackluster compared to Akuma's. I'd suggest making it ground bounce (or whatever it's called), allowing for a juggle afterwards.
I messed with a ground bounce property but it looked silly to me. I know people will think a single hit move would underwhelming. But I didn't want to make juggle combos that feel out of character. Balancing character/game integrity with fun can be tricky. Almost any other KoF character (Robert definitely) would feel natural with a wall bounce/ground bounce/launcher. :(

I tried to emphasize the power behind the move but there's only so much that can be done there. Maybe adding some kind of shake effect could add more "pop."

Quote
Level 1: Short Command (e.g. QCF/HCB) then 2p/k. Level 2: Long Command (e.g. QCFx2/QCF,HCB) then p/k. Level 3: Long Command then 2p/2k.
Thought about doing that, definitely considering doing it that way.

Hopefully I can put out an update that adds AI in a couple days, if not sooner.

I'm having trouble performing some of Ryo's that use DP and HC commands in particular, which I have a feeling may involve it having misplaced command priority. Also, the final hitsound from Ryuuko Ranbu still plays even if said last hit whiffs, although I personally think this move should force P2 into a standing custom state so that all hits connect when comboing off a juggle.

Not much else wrong with this character asides from the criticism above, pretty solid overall.
- Yeah it was command priority stuff, fixed (I hope).
- I forgot to apply the custom state to snap P2 in place, fixed.
- Final HitSound plays in source even if it doesn't hit. Weird stuff happens when the charge hit is parried, he does the rest of the move anyway.

Havent mess around to much with both so far but both characters big portrait have a white bg.
- Fixed

Done with the same gameplay as Akuma (who's been massively updated) but far more refined.

My best guess was that I must have contracted it from taking public transportation into the NYC area. No way to know for sure though.

Good to know you're feeling better. :)

I'm highly certain that's how it happened. NYC alone makes up almost 20% of all cases in America, you have to be ultra careful up there. Or any place nearby (Nassau, Long Island, Jersey City, etc).

The DLC nonsense was obviously Koei Tecmo. They kept pushing how far they could milk their fans and went over the edge with the hair color nonsense.

I don't know who (between Team Ninja, KT, and the western competitive community who was in their ear) was responsible for this mess, so I'll just say they all have blame to share as to why the game failed.

They want to make an e-sports game, but you can't play with friends at launch because no lobbies? Who seriously thought that was acceptable? Any chance the game might have had was finished right there.

Apparently no Tag Mode was because of the graphical improvements, mentioned months after they confirmed it wouldn't be present. I wish they would've been more transparent about that from the beginning, rather than let people speculate as to why it went missing.

You finally give basic customization features, but you pay for custom features that other games let you do for free... huh?

Not helped by weird changes (lol meter) that did nothing to fix gameplay issues that competitive players really have with the game. Or off-tone additions like blood filled, FPS styled screen effects.

Then there's Kasumi and her awful redesign, important since it's the main character. In a desperate attempt to show e-sports people that "we're more mature" or whatever, I wonder how many of those people actually bought/played the game (I'll guess a total of 5, for about a week).

Can't say I'd care much about any future games if this is the best they can do. But if they do get a chance at a new game, hopefully it'll be better planned out than this.

Influenza doesn't cause mass levels of self-isolation. So yeah tens of millions would get infected by that. People vastly underestimate just how little of a number 10 or 20 thousand can be (understandably so), when stacked next to a sizable populace of people.

This is not fake news, this is not fear mongering.

No one said it was, I certainly didn't. In fact, I'll re-emphasize that it's not being taken seriously enough give the enormous strain on the economy, and the flawed healthcare industry as a whole (moreso the people who rely on their services).

But it was an observance that sparked curiosity in me, and how people will use numbers to exploit people's emotion on subject matters. I wouldn't quite know what their motive would be in doing that. Maybe I was simply being paranoid, and they're just using that as a way to tell people how serious it all is.

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/03/21/coronavirus-trading-house-senate-140260
There are stories about how congress officials were selling stocks knowing how dire things would become, but not using that information to inform the public. And of course subsequently lying about it too. There are definitely people out there trying to game others (or the system) out of it all, right down to silly supply hoarding.

Of course speaking from Eagleland perspective.

I live about 30 miles from D.C., in a small city. I'm personally not worried about catching it, I'd have a better chance of getting into a car accident. And fortunately my job is essential, so I'm not out of luck making money. Not as fortunate, I'm the only one working in my family.

Obviously, it's a bad situation all around. Everything's in shutdown, cities are getting hit real bad, and it's legitimately unsafe for the elderly to go outside. The economy being strangled to death is putting it generously. Small business is as good as screwed, and city small shops would need a miracle to survive, given the vicious combo of lost revenue and absurdly high expenses over there.

I'd love to rip on the anti-science GOP (it's just the flu, smart) and the oversensitive Dems (let's just do nothing because closing borders is racist or something) since neither of them show any real competence on anything truly important. But I have to cut it short there, because nothing could've been done to stop this disaster. It would've found a way to penetrate the country no matter what action was taken. And the nature of the virus would've made it spread in mass anyway. Not like any other country has found a way to dodge it. Outside of Antarctica

Best case scenario is a sufficient enough slowdown within the next month to slowly re-establish normality, while waiting on the long-term vaccine. South Korea seemingly were able to get a handle on things thanks to numerous testing kits, but apparently it also utilized methods that some would call an invasion of privacy. Don't think that's realistic in most other areas, but forcing isolation within the big cities should produce a similar effect on a more gradual scale. South Korea still has some issues in Seoul.

Finally, frivolous numbers given the overall gravity of the situation, but I feel it must be said. Experts claim that up to 70% of Americans will get infected in the next 18 months. That's laughably inaccurate, and the natural skeptic in me wonders why they'd use such a crazy high number. Current number of cases in the US are at 35,000. To get to even 1%, that number would have to spike to 3 million. Even that number is lofty, much less 210 million. Even Italy, which inexplicably got hit real bad, is not a the 1% mark yet. So yeah, be careful believing what media tells you and stuff.

What a shock, people are trying to defend this nonsense. I could've never imagined that.

And as far as the REI situation I just feel like people here dont like him personally. Talkin about banning for essentially no reason. Like I said before yall are mad cuz he found a loophole. HES SELLING HIS DISCORD NOT MUGEN ITSELF
You've gotta be kidding me here.

No shit people are mad Nostradamus, how long did it take for you to see that? That's supposed to be your grand point about being right on this argument somehow? A 10-year old could come up with that; try using something called "critical thinking" if you can, it helps you not sound like a damn fool.

Duh mob mentality exists, and I don't like how it can look at times. But lol at comparing Falcon (someone who makes characters people don't like but is ultimately harmless) to grubbing leeches with zero integrity. Falcon isn't causing mass havoc by making "early access" schemes with the stuff he's releasing, among other things. Nor is he blatantly stealing other people's art without crediting.

You "claim" to not like Seiryuu, but you're trying hella much to defend him from this mob of angry nerds. Who don't like seeing the content they worked on being monetized by someone who wasn't involved. I don't see where it makes sense, maybe you should try saving that for someone who's less deserving of the mass criticism.

And lol at the loophole horseshit. It's a paywall to get mugen content, very simple to understand unless you lack in basic logic.
