I'm planning on drafting up a cartoon fullgame not too dissimilar from saturday morning mayhem. Going to start out by making bases of all the characters I have in mind :-)

fat albert is one character, you're given the option to choose between three junkyard band strikers at the beginning of the match

Yes, these are contributions to SMF3! I'm very close friends with the creator. If you haven't already, you can find him over at nakagawaCR on twitter. He occasionally posts progress under the #SMF3 tag, and there should be some unlisted videos with more recent gameplay if you scroll long enough. Crazy to meet someone else who knows about it in the wild!

Here's gameplay of the Arrangement edit. Not sure if / when I will finish it. I've been making stages left and right in an attempt to understand MUGEN coding just a little bit better haha

Hey everyone! I've been grinding at my spritework a lot over the course of the last few years, and because the majority of it pertains to fighting games... Hey all! Here's some test sprites I contributed to get acquainted with Neo's style. They drew the base sketches, and I cleaned them up.





I'm super passionate about this project, and extremely grateful to have been brought on board!! I'm so excited for what it's future holds, and I think the result is going to be something really unique and special.

Hey! Long time no see!

I've made a few changes in direction - for one, this is no longer a CSW mod / associated with CSW. . . and with that change, came a complete sprite overhaul! These are all extremely rough at the moment, but I feel they better convey the motion and flow I was trying to give him before. Once I get all of his general movement out of the way, I'll be sure to pop back in!

Can't express how much this means coming from you, really appreciate the kind words. Expression is key with a character like Sonic!

While I chip away at the spritework - have some portrait drafts / palettes! Versus screen, selection screen and the crisis card. Try to ignore the pagestretchin', completely forgot how the resize image command

Whilst Sonic was included in earlier builds of CSW, as far as I'm aware those assets have been lost to time and the team isn't currently focused on his development - so I thought I'd step in with my goofy hedgehog filled brain. What's the sprite projects section without a teensy dash more of sonic love? (Probably better off, if anything)

While I don't imagine (what im assuming is) HCL's mario is the easiest frame of reference to build off of, you do a flawless job masking the original lower framerate and resolution with your spritework. Really appealing color and depth here, I can't imagine how long it must take to not only keep the consistency of the original brawl frames but with your paintovers and the new details those introduce. This is absolute eyecandy. Really appreciate the addition of new attacks like the tanooki tail as well. Cannot wait to see where this goes even if just for fun!
