Thank you so much for making a Rival Arena that isn't a still image Carmell. That game is a huge morbid fascination of mine, but always loved this stage immensely.
Yeah, I'm not certain what the heck is going on here either. I don't personally agree that every Street Fighter Mugen related material must follow the exact design formula and philosophy that official Street Fighter games made by teams of developers have, and expecting anything of that quality from one person is insane to be quite honest. This game seemed to have been compiled in a few months too, very impressive what is here reguardless.
Thank you for giving Street Fighter 1 some love Nexus, as Trololo and Momotaro pointed out, the game has a lot of flaws that I hope to see worked on in updates as well, but very thankful to have a new Street Fighter 1 styled experience in any capacity, very addicted to SF1's style and aesthetic.
This is very, very interesting. Does it play like Mortal Kombat? I love themeless anything goes crossovers like this, and it will be nice to have Overwatch in Mugen finally, alongside The Boys. I really like this Comix Zone stage too, best of luck with this project. Do you have plans to release parts of it seperately?
Congratulations on the release, very quick timing for needing to animate, capture, and port his frames to Mugen. Loving the new .png overview and moveset too, a lot to appreciate here. I really hope Lami will get one too, very cute set of characters.
Re: A guy is making a functional Mugen clone in Unity
From a Bomberman clone to taking Mugen to the next level alongside IKEMEN? This guy is going to go places, wishing him best of luck with his game projects.
I personally like Norimaro, coming from someone who does not like Street Fighter characters that much however. Was not certain MSHvsSF had any sort of following, figures he is bottom tier. And Symbiote Spidey, Spider-Ham, and Howard the Duck got turned down? Pain. These games man.
I'd still like to give smoke towards Shuma and Blackheart for both being awkward to use and outshining their own protagonists for way too long on the other hand.
These snippets you pulled are extremely interesting honestly. Where did you get them from? I call bullshit on Fantastic being difficult when they had Darkstalkers right there for how to pull off "stretch and squish graphics". Daredevil being "too boring" hurts to read too, he fits perfectly amongst Street Fighter characters. I always knew MvC2 was an absolute mess of a game, but this interview helps a lot in showing what the devs had thought and went through.
I really hope there is an interview for Marvel Super Heroes, that game was the peak of bad rosters, and also why they chose the freaky monsters. Very lovely fighter however.
I don't personally have interest in Match of the Millennium, I personally prefer SvC Chaos's bleak but consistent original world and classic quotes. That game's roster was a mess in itself, but special middle finger to Demitri. It makes me deeply happy so many people would have wanted to see Falcon though.
I am not sure why people keep repeating "grounded", but then look over the Samurai Showdown characters and Morrigan. If people want Mega Man, I don't think it's unfeasible to want the definitive mascot of Capcom back then in Capcom vs. SNK. Never did personally like both game's rosters either, but MvC's Capcom roster is far more random in comparison. Jin in 1 and 2 especially.
Re: K-FC and Mai Shiranui-K released and Athena-GZ New Era Updated
Only tried K'FC, and I was extremely pleasantly surprised. Not a cheapie, has nice and simplified KoF gameplay that is comfortable, and comes with a built in "button display". Genuinely fantastic character.
Is this different from the initial "Fire Spider-Men" that were also very powerful? The initial joke Winmugen only one and initial Webs of Freedom release? Very nice to have broken Spidies I have to say, thank you for the cheap version revamp.
I added a Homer Simpson moveset, hypers might be adjusted as I rewatch more of the Golden Age.
I really hope even one of these creative, vastly more in character, and awesome sounding attacks make it into a future Homer edit. Have wanted a recoded version of him for a while now.
Re: The Fallen Angel - YUIREN stage (12/05/2022 UPDATE)
Thank you very much for the formal upload Eden, it's very nice to see you here. These stage interactions really make me want to keep a small IKEMEN roster.
Was just going to ask what was something you were planning to make. Awesome Pocket aesthetic, excellent choice to make the game vibrant but not too taxing to sprite. Always wanted a Newgrounds Rumble sequel too, best of luck guys.
Re: RELEASE: Gumball Watterson and a CVS/POTS makeover.
Very, very odd release, but always welcome for higher quality Western cartoon characters. I never did personally like Custom Combo mechanics, both to use and defend against, but big fan of how you added perks to Gumball using a hyper during it. It adds a lot of motivation to risk doing it, but, why does he "self destruct" so much with a rainbow effect? Is no Chain Comboing intentional as well? Thank you for this edit, in love with the snazzy title card hyper effect.
