- holdback, go backward and switch 10 by 10

And no, you better not make that beard happen if it's going to use the colors of something else. That's the whole point of CS, is that you can customize every part of it with colors you like, and having 2 deparate parts have the same color set is breaking it. If you don't have the colors for the beard, then give it up.

In these 2 years of "silence", i've found some time to continue my work on Sagat and Zangief, despite a lot of personal troubles (i lost my mother in february).
anyway, here you are a small preview of the news:

i'm thinking to stop posting animation gifs, since i found out that some others "creators" use my works and sometimes (often) they forgot to "credit" me.. :/ :/
In the meantime, i saw some videos of a "bearded ryu", it gave me an idea to implement beard on Sagat too..
the main problem is that there are no more free color slots in the palette, so i'd have to choose to adapt the beard in the same colour of other already C.S. parts.. don't know if you understand what i mean.. what do you think about this?

Might I ask if you've done anything cool to 'Gief sprite-wise? He could do with more custom sprites, IMO.

Here's my WIP of Sagat. He is nowehere near done as you can see here. With M206's massive sprite collection I can do pretty much whatever I want in terms of making the character pop out more. I'm still experimenting his move set, however I have a good idea of all of his supers. His specials are still being fleshed out, and they don't even have EX versions. This is just to show you all big progress is being made, but not enough of it to be considered finished, so I'll get to that progress whenever I can. I know the many different moves M206 Sagat has, and I will take full advantage of the many sprites. Stay epic everyone.

- Tiger clench is still the most fucking stupid thing I've seen in a long time, along with the F,c, mash a being an infinite. Even with some of Ryou Win's robocop characters with their infinite mash grabs, I'd at least had to mash hard with them while with sagat I barely need to try https://streamable.com/9zw4ih
- Debug flood for years, especially with the perry detection

- Much like what R@ce said, this character could benefit by being split up into different modes considering there's 51 possible target combos alone with this character whose gonna manage that considering the day one stuff I've listed off here

Honestly, and i cant believe im saying this but I think your Sagat just has too much in him.
With that many moves you couldve just split him up into different versions that way all of it wouldnt be just in one Sagat and he would feel more balanced.
Also some moves need to be toned down. Some should feel like lvl1s, lvl2s, and lvl3s, not some of them feeling like they are lvl3s but aren't.
I know you put a lot of work into and I definitely think your on to something but some moves also just imo dont look right. Like that move you used from Samchay. I feel like you already had enough of Sagats own unique moves that made him feel like him already till you didnt need that. Love how you did Tiger storm. Ive been eanting someone to code it that way for years.
You could break your Sagat up into different versions
Regular
EX
Muay Thai King (Basically Master)
SF4
SF5
SFxT
Basically how Infinite did Ibuki. That way you can have more balance and spread some of these moves out

yes, i know what you mean.. i've thought a lot about it, and i'm still unsure.. to follow my tekken-ish style, for now i prefer to keep the combo ability even without the first hit connected.. in the future i could change my mind..

It's mostly a matter of balance vs style. Having tried the character, he feels a lot overpowered in a normal CvS roster because of those Tekken style combos. It's not a character flaw per-se.
