I have to try out Shingo more, but he looks fantastic. Nice to see a proper use for Troy's hard labor.
I'm also loving the updates to Rogue. Definitely feels a lot closer to home in terms of how she looks in-game.

I joked about it on Discord, but maybe you could do something with that Sylvie spritesheet that was slapped onto a Benimaru. That was a major letdown, and I have no doubt you could do lightyears better.

Honestly, the sprites are a feat to be sure, but they need work. Proportions change between some animations.

Made two Kyanta 2 styled sprites as a little experiment using two different methods. Left was finalized in Paint.NET and right was finalized in Aseprite.
Wish I had the courage to make a Kyanta 2 theme thread to see more of these goofy things...

And since we're on the topic of updating all characters, I think Rogue could benefit a lot from that. I really feel like she shouldn't be as tall as she is, especially since at that scale it would make other characters in the Kyanta cast look absolutely massive when they probably shouldn't be. I'd use Kyanta as a to-Ryu's-scale reference.

There are also some missing voicelines that I'll send your way.

To actually contribute to the conversation, I think it has a lot to do with familiarity. Obviously, characters from actual fighting games will be the most familiar, with popular media characters coming in not too far behind.

The more obscure your character is to the fighting game scene, the harder of a sell it is.

Don't know if this has been mentioned at all (looked through it a few times but I do miss things), but I just found out that hitdefs refuse to function if the statetype is a liedown state, regardless of movetype.

Which, you know, makes sense, but kind of sucks for my very niche scenario.

I'm just porting everything from Sm4sh (and maybe things from Ultimate if I feel inclined) with creative liberties to suit a traditional fighter.

Character: Mignon Beart
Commissioning: Full sheet with edit of stand animation from previous commission and existing Chuchoryu animations (if possible).

I'm looking to expand my Mignon Beart stand animation commission into a full spritesheet to funnel into a character.

Style: CvS

References: Stand animation in MI2


Edited Troy99 commissioned stand animation


Price Range: $250-350 would probably be my estimated cap. Definitely want to do a single payment as opposed to payment per animation, as it was a pain in the ass to get even one payment made to my last commission artist. Just give me your price and I'll talk about it with someone else. (I still don't own the money I'm using for this.)

Time Frame: n/a, but regular updates would be appreciated.
