There's a really weird bug that happens if you input Akuma's demon/ultra demon immediately when the round starts. He'll stay stationary when executed this way for about 3-4 frames. Is this intentional?

I honestly only have about 4gigs of ddr3 ram. Never had a problem with anything. The loading times are super quick, so it doesn't seem to be that intensive. I even have a full roster, not a single preload error.

Either just delete the 9000 sprites, and then add them again.

               OR

Start over again, use the character's original .sff file, add the legacy 9000 files don't replace the old ones, delete them first then save over .sff file you currently have.

when i change the chars portraits everything goes fine except that a lot of chars are just playable with the default palette

When, adding the legacy portraits to whatever character you have, make sure the delete the original 9000 ports first, because most of the time they share a pallete with the character's (what you see when they are fighting) sprites. Therefore causing the whole 'only default pallete works, what do?' issue to happen, if you just replace the sprites.

Hell of a long thread, nice work on those portraits though, most of those win ports will clash with a lot of ones that aren't in the same kind of....style.
But nonetheless, great renders, great placement. JUST GREAT.

The positioning of the WIN port might be too far off to the right hand side so the WINNER text might overlap the face. Would need to see an in game screenshot to know for sure though. I do love the choice of renders here though ;)

And about the small, and team portraits, I placed it in a position that was aesthetically pleasing to me. I can make alternate ones though.
Also, the p2 is a bit washed out I can definitely see that, the original artwork didn't really have a lot of saturation.

Realistically, to change ANYTHING related to visuals in ANY screenpack, you would have to change a few things in the fight sff and system sff files, or whatever the fight.def, and system.def have as there main sprite sources.
It takes some technical know-how, look around the development section for help with that.
