I'll just say it's not a full-on compilation, it's just that the PotS chars are the bases I'm editing from.

Minor update, but Devon supplied me with a logo not too long ago, and I borrowed the font from him and the lifebar (SVDRE). These will be in the next update when I get around to it.

I'll document some of the glaring or very-nitpicky issues:
1. Non-EX Diamond Dust's P2 seems to be misaligned for one or two frames during the slam part.
2. I'd suggest a way to move out of her normal Taunt because of the length.
3. I've seen Orochi Shermie do a Shermie Flash (or Carnival) with her AI. Only happened one from what I've seen though, and I think it was a cancel.
4. I'd suggest a shorter Orochi Transformation cutscene, or some way to skip it at the very least, same for Yashiro.
5. Most of Orochi mode's EX moves give back power. Yatanagi no Muchi is the biggest offender here.
6. The Lighting Sounds on her supers cut off abruptly.
7. Unmei no Ya's lightning is rather loud. I'd also suggest a longer cloud part before it like in 02 (UM).
8. My final suggestion would be to have .defs or configs for only having one out of the 2 modes like most vanilla PotS chars.

Nice to see the Orochi mode being added either way. I also liked the altered Unmei no Ya where you have to time it correctly instead of resorting to RNG. Lastly, it nice to see you back. Hopefully you come out with more updates and sick fighters.

Do you have an idea of what kind of screenpack and lifebars you want?

That's probably gonna make itself as I go along, but the main plan is a sorta HD SFA Mix with the edge of SF4, if you understand that.

wasnt expecting this,are there any plans for tag system or sth? cause I been kinda modifying add004 tag system for a while,and I think it could fit in nice here

That's mostly planned for Story Mode. I'll have to experiment first though.

about super cancels,I think doing them only from ex and normals would make ex moves more important,just a idea

Making only EX Specials cancellable would be kinda awkward and restricted. It would also make most of the combos very meter-costly and I'm not a fan of combos that take too much meter for little damage.
I feel like it's just more natural to have all the cancels from Normals.
I'll suss this out for real later in development.

My attempt at throwing my hat into the Full Game ring. I'll be using PotS-style characters, adapted to the Supreme System, FX and Mechanics.

Mechanic Notes:

LP+LK:
This will be reserved for Defensive/Counter Mechanics.
Currently it's used for the Alpha Counter, which has been simplified to have only 1 possible attack with a simple command.

MP+MK:
This isn't used for anything as of now. I plan to use it for Tag Mechanics if I add them.

HP+HK:
This is reserved for Supreme Moves. These cost health to use just like a Final Fight Mega Crash/Extra Joy.
For traditional attacks, they have full invincibility until their attack frames end. These are essentially panic moves as they're meant to save the player from sticky situations. For some fighters they can be used in Combos like Chun-Li's Sen'en Shu and Ken's Ryusenkyaku, the latter being an OTG. Some fighters may have unique Supremes, like Ryu's being cancellable.

Taunts:
Each character will of course have at least 1. Though some will have Special Taunts which give Power upon use like a Special Move would. Feint Moves and such are usually counted (e.g. Ryu's Hadou no Kamae).

Cancels:
These work like in the SF2 and Alpha games. You can only cancel from Normals into Specials or Supers.
I feel this works fine as it is, but I may change it if the feedback's not for it. I might do the KOF thing where the Super Cancels are limited to 1 or 2 Specials.

Supers:
Every Fighter will have at least 1 Super for each level. 1 for Level 1, 1 for Level 2, 1 for Level 3. A few characters (like Akuma) will bypass this rule.
Level 1 will usually be for the Fighter's trademark super (e.g. Ryu's Shinkuu Hadouken and Guile's Somersault Strike).
Level 2 will normally be used for, if a Fighter has one, Non-Traditional or Special Mode supers (e.g. Adon's Jaguar Varied Assault or Yun's Genei Jin).

Fighter Line-Up:

Added = Is included and is perfectly playable.
WIP = Is being added as we speak, or doesn't have a complete moveset (e.g. Lacks Supers or a Supreme)
Confirmed = Is to be added in the future.
Planned = May be added in the future.

Voices:

Modern (SF4 and onwards) voices, mixed from several games. The language will vary between characters (e.g. Guile is English and Ryu is Japanese. Ken is currently Japanese but I plan to switch to English).

Movelist Note(s):

I felt like Ken's SF4 Ultra Shinryuken would be the epicer Level 3, but it was too similar to Ryu's Shin Shoryuken in terms of function (Anti-air with cinematic variant). Having it would make him less different, so I opted for making Shippu Jinrai Kyaku the Level 3.

I do plan for EX versions of characters in the future with movelist changes granting different tools and options, so might fit this Ultra Shinryuken in there.

To Do (exclusing obvious stuff like adding characters):
- Balancing.
- Consistent artwork for Fighters
- Finalized FX.
- Get a polished screenpack.
What will or may require IKEMEN:
- Image-based movelists.
- Bonus Stages.
- Story Mode(s).

Download:

Contains the game folder, so I can update things freely when I want to and so players can download what they need or want to. It will be an on-going WIP without a genuine schedule.

Kazuya updated to v1.4, folkies, attending to Project's feedback.

Super Armor added to Devil Beam. The only issue I've found is that the Counter FX appears if P2 hits him during the Armor phase. It happened with Infinite's Setsuna (Which I got it from) when he attacks with it on, so I'm not complaining just yet.

Some more responses:
- Stature Smash, if you're talking about the kick, doesn't cancel. The second hit does though as it's shared with Demon Slayer's.
- Less startup frames for Devil Beam would be too generous because of the damage output.
- I added a Full Charge voice. I think the Charge itself is fine without one because of the animation used.

Another small Ryu update today.

Someone reported he can't do the Long Low Jump, probably because of the outdated coding.
As you may assume, this has been fixed.


I prefer to use moves from the games. If I do tackle him I may give him the Guren Senpukyaku along with the Shinryuken, but that would make SF3 Ken less special. I dunno at the moment.
