Not while I'm working on 9 of my own characters Big boss.

Also the gun looks horrible.

I think you might just being too hard on yourself about the gun - I think it looks beautiful given the palette restrictions, and that's from someone who has been crapping out weapon sprites for the past two years (I'd like to think I'm at least a little good at it).

On a different note, however, her calves could be a touch longer and her thighs slightly shorter - it just doesn't look terribly natural.

Happy holydays to all! :) This is Omegapsycho Honda hi-reset for my liking. It's compatible for mugen 1.0 & 1.1

Download: http://mugen-hiresedits.blogspot.com/

I hate to be THAT guy, but I don't think running sprites through a filter is exactly hi-res (I mean, it TECHNICALLY is, but it just blurs details in the original sprites that work because of the lower resolution). I haven't playtested the character, so I can't really say much about gameplay changes/improvements over Omegapsycho's SSF2 E. Honda owing to my current lack of MUGEN editing software (and really just a MUGEN folder in general), but what exactly is different apart from filtered sprites? It HAS been a while since I've looked at Honda's DEFs though...

Good thing I saved that sprite then.

Welcome back Vegeta20XX.

Great to be back - all I have to do now (apart from attempting to requisition my remaining lost sprites) is get my hands on Chamat's SF3 Sagat sprites...who knows, I might post an update.

So, I revived the thread with a punch of relatively fresh sprites.

I'll update it with more sprites as they come along...

EDIT: Just so we're clear, I owe MFG a fresh Needler sprite (since PicturePush killed literally every image I've EVER posted to Guild), a Proton Pack, Zero Suit Samus' sidearm, a UT 2004 Flak Cannon, and a Sturm 21. I doubt anyone who requested these weapons is still checking this thread, but I'll try to knock out a few of these before my next post (would appreciate another user posting, at the very least so my next update isn't a doublepost).

EDIT II: Finished a request from the Evageeks forum, Battlefield 2142's Lambert Carbine:

I've been absent from MFG for quite some time (at least two years), and I figured that, since I'm spriting a whole bunch for my projects, Doom-related and otherwise, I'd start lurking around here again for shits and giggles.

Shame I can't find any of my older stuff - apart from that HR Gouki sprite I was working on, most of it got nixed by PicturePush.

Why are your posts so -- fruitless? A great imagination is not one that can think of an idea and create a reality where everything is possible and if there's an obstacle to overcome it, it's automatically overcome by some random power that will suddenly pop up and exist, simple to make the obstacle a non-obstacle, a great imagination is one that can take one or two ideas, and then build upon that single idea with multiple sub-ideas to create a story or alternate reality that is interesting and complex with notable limitations and obstacles to overcome.

This is just effortless drivel.

"[You can travel time and be immortal! Oh! and if you need any more powers, just add them to yourself as you go so your life won't have an obstacles and you can be bored because you don't actually have to work for anything!]"

Unless you take away our humanity, and thus take away our need for self actualization, this will just end up being a curse.

And that's why only rich people can god-mod in real life, and even then they have their limits. That said, unless self-actualization ends up being Omega Point or something, I agree that the cons outweigh the pros with immortality alone. Now, invulnerability, on the other hand, might be a slightly better balance, since the time travel aspect can be exploited in so many ways regarding one's lifespan, and at the end of the day even the most "influential" time traveler goes to sleep and doesn't wake up.

Takuma (improved) and mr.karate 13

Takuma's KOF 13 facial proportions don't lend themselves well to CvS-style sprites. That said, these sprites are awesome, and I commend you for putting so much time and energy into making them.

I do on, on occasion - I still even have a Mugen folder on this comp, though I never use it. I've gotten into Doom modding recently, and you'd be surprised how similar it is to making Mugen content (SLADE feels a lot like Fighter Factory because of this, minus the rampant bugs). Hopefully I'll eventually get back to it, though it's gonna be a while.

unfinished sprites:
a snk version Zealot of a great Artchell's sprite and Doomguy from poster of Doom.

That is one hell of a Doomguy, guy. I hope you plan on finishing that one at the very least.

...I wonder what that same poster would look like if it were all redone like this sprite...

the third they refer to as "neuro typical"
... and? Their other two kids are neuro-atypical. It's a thing?

I never want to hear these words again. If the mental difference hampers the child socially or psychologically, the child has a mental disability. If not, then the child doesn't. The fact that they refer to their fourth child as "neurotypical" only really serves to distinguish the child from his/her siblings and mark their differences.

The parents' first three kids have mental disabilities, so they treat their non-disabled child the same way. Does the child actually identify him/herself as female? Possibly, but the way the parents are supporting their child gives off the image that the parents see it differently than he does.

@Bea: I agree with you on that point - even the brightest toddlers usually don't form meaningful sentences until at least 2 1/2 to 3 years old, though part of it has to do with their basic understanding of language, not necessarily that such thoughts don't manifest - if they do, the child can't properly express them for at least a solid year or so.

i'd be the guy everyone hates kinda like omega zero I'm nothing in the first battle and the 2nd but in the 3rd I'm the troll who uses counter attacks and fierce combos to come at u and my power doubles 25-90% if i'm annoyed

And I'd be myself with a bunch of moves that I cannot perform in real life, because being a fighting game character isn't any fun if it's realistic. The only realistic aspect would be the kicks, because that's probably the one area where I have an actual advantage against most people (i.e., my IRL arms are practically noodles and all punch-based attacks would reflect that, doing minimal damage, while my IRL legs are pretty much kicking machines).

And you can't be Zero. This thread stops being fun when users godmod themselves. That, and you can't "double 25-90%" - double power means a 100% increase in damage.

My various Silver Eagle coins - I had six of them before they all got stolen. Mind you, silver was about seven dollars an ounce back then, so right now that would be about 180 bucks in silver.

I'll try to finish it later tonight or tomorrow.
