Everything is ok well done boyz but i wanna ask one question. original Pots Ryu always beating this in Watch Mode. Did u nerf AI or something like dat ?

I didn't lower down anything in AI, I just ironed out some stuff on his AI to not feel glitchy or sumthing.
His AI before the update was doing Lv2 Shinkuu Hadouken despite having 1 bar.

I'm trying to work on Recoding OG PotS Ryu with new variables while maintaining(or improving) the old(cvs2 hitsparks) PotS gameplay.

I haven't been doing anything mugen-related as my pc just died but I'll work on it when I can.

I see. I'll redownload him and take a look. If you want help with the config using both the aura + chargeable shakunetsu AND no aura + normal shakunetsu for those who still like it, I'm here.

Thanks for the offer. I'm currently recoding Ryu, updates to this Ryu might take long.

How about a config option to give Evil Ryu his SF4 voice back during Shin Messatsu Goshoryu? I liked that voice clip honestly. Personally his CVS voice while performing it honestly doesn't fit the move well, and especially since he often says the exact same line after if he wins a round with it.

I should be able to make a SF4 voicepack, SF4 voice feels out of place imo. But I'm thinking of removing Shin Messatsu Goushoryu, along with other supers, to keep him close to his 2D iterations with the exception of Evil Ryu's Axe Kick

Gave this feedback to RagingRowen, but never got around fixing it. Can you look at these since you're updating him now?:
-His dodge still doesn't have a light kick swing sound.
-Tomoe Nage doesn't have a heavy kick swing sound when the opponent is thrown.
-Senpuu Kyaku should be a medium hit sound instead of a heavy one since it's using the B command and that the damage is weaker.

This is great news, I even suggest Rowen to make the chargeless shakunetsu + no aura to ressemble his CVS appearance, at least as a config option, good to see you're going for it!

I would like him with an evil aura if he was in his SF4-based but since OG PotS is CVS with mix of SF games throughout Arcade Era, I prefer having him without, just like SFA2 and 3, CVS1 and 2. About the making a config for such options, it would be hard since I don't have his list of variables and most of them are used in some way or another. I'm planning to remake Ryu(Mixed-Game oriented) but I'm quite busy for college and my daily grind on a certain mobile game.

Just Updated him a bit.

I did some testing and found an error on his readme: it says in master mode that Nidan Shoryu Tsuki is LK only and Metsu Shoryuken is MK and HK, however when I do MK he still performs Nidan Shoryu Tsuki.
It seems I forgot to change Master Ryu's Section in the readme...
I might bring back some OG PotS Ryu stuff to make him closer to pre-SF4 games like his OG Chargeless Shakunetsu and update the list of fighters will receive bonus damage from Shun Goku Satsu.
I have been thinking of removing some intros vs old characters that PotS gave him.

3RD UPDATE IS LIVE (Check First Post)

Good to see you're still around. Here is my feedback.
- You have some typos in the readme, such as Nidan Shoryu Tsuki and Metsu Shoryuken being "D, DF, F, D, DB, F, k".
- I think Imperfect Shin Shoryuken should do more damage, I wouldn't want to spend 3 bars for a damage like that if I can spend 3 on normal Shin Shoryuken.
- Metsu Shoryuken for Evil Ryu is stated as D, DF, F, D, DB, B, k, with no indication like in Normal Ryu version, but I still can only do it only with HK, I think you should modify it to 2K (since is a MAX) or at least state that is only HK and not any K.

Besides that, there are the nitpicks I told RagingRowen on his topic but you don't need to worry about these.

Oh, and I loved the Metsu Shoryuken changing palette, nice idea! :)

Metsu Shoryuken for NormalRyu.def doesn't quite look the same because the def doesn't use his Evil Palettes.

I could fix them but that would mean the sff version will be converted in to 2.0 rather than the standard 1.0
And it will remove the exchanging and adding palettes like the OG PotS Ryu have.

I will find an alternative fix to this.

Wouldn't that be too gimmicky for Ryu? This sorta reminds me of how it was for the Shin Shoryuken in MvCI where at low health the animation would change to have the Satsui no Hadou involved.

Tbh, I'll probably update my original edit instead of this one, though taking some snippets from this like the Messatsu Goshoryu and Shinkuu Hadouken stuff.
I use "life < (number)" code from the SvC chararcters exceed move to meet the requirement if QCF,QCF,K = Metsu Shoryuken or Nidan Shoryuu Tsuki
I'm testing that right now.

Why not change the Nidan Shoryuu Tsuki back to QCF,QCB. It's odd to have the MAX version be MK/HK. Also, I renamed it to Metsu Shoryuken becuase that was its name in Alpha 3.
Also I would suggest making the Imperfect Shin Shoryuken follow-up use up one less power stock becuase it doesn't do enough damage for a Level 3.
Also why did you remove the Evil Big Port from the SFF? The Evil small ports still remain.
My only complaints for now.

-It would be weird for Metsu Shoryuken as a LV1, I'm also considering the Nidan Shoryuu Tsuki as a vanilla version of Metsu Shoryuken.
-I'm considering Metsu Shoryuken to be only accessible by being in low health while also disabling the Nidan Shoryuu Tsuki like Ryu did against Sagat in the lore.
-QCF,QCB feels weird for my taste tbh, it is also closer to Alpha 3
-I redid the sff because FF3 messed up the sff by Auto-Arrange while fitting the extra small portraits into the normal palettes.

PS: I also forgot to include the SF3 Stance.

Ill see,btw i only cs'ed the sprites,not made them.I'm not sure about who made them,i took them from memo's ryu

if i recall correctly, memo's ryu didn't have the same extensive cs sprites as victorys' did
if i ever made a mode for ryu(and not laze off again), then i'll surely credit them.

Aye 1.8.7 welcome back ! If you plan to update ryu once more i got some cs'ed sfv basics laying around,i wanted to edit ryu myself but i can't code for shit,i was gonna release them as a resource eventually with more custom ryu sprites

I do plan to update him more but mostly on how he feels as the lore "Ryu" along with balanced gameplay elements
Please do release the sprites, I may use them on EX Ryu for his 2.5D/3D-mode move variants if I didn't lazy again.

I don't plan using SFV Basics. Also, I've been thinking of MAX mode from the KoF 2002 as a HP+HK system rather than CvS2 Max Mode or Custom Combo.
I will be using Victorys' Evil Ryu as a template since that E.Ryu feels more of CvS2 than to others like the old PotS Ryu.
As for the voices, I think i would be picking his SF4-SF5 voice since that soundpack feels complete.
