If they have 3 cns files, you need to check all the 3 and find the [statedef -2] row. They can also be in a .st or .ai file. If you can't find it, the character probably doesn't have it, in this case you can create it in any .cns or .st or .ai file.

-2 is a state number. Sometimes characters don't have it but you can always create it. Usually it goes in the CNS but some creators also like to make separated files to put the -2 states, you need to find them. It says:

You'll place the code below this line. As I said, if the character doesn't have it, you can create.

In Fighter Factory 3 (idk how it is in other versions but is probably similar) you need to check if all your sprites (not counting effects and things that are not part of the character) are group 1 index 1. When you find the sprites that are with the wrong palette, there is a button called "Apply the current palette to the specified sprites":

You need to make sure you're on the right palette (group 1, index 1) and apply it to all your sprites using that button. It has an option to pick a range of sprites so you can apply the palette to multiple sprites at once.

I'm not the best person to answer this since I don't use Ikemen that much, but from my experience:

1. It's stable, yes. I don't even remember if it ever crashed for me.

2. If you're talking about Ikemen GO specifically, almost no editing is needed. 99% of characters and stages made for MUGEN works on Ikemen GO. Screenpacks and lifebars also works, however, Ikemen has a lot of new features and if you want to use them, you need to edit them a little. You just need to include the things you want in the screenpack.

3. You can run it without internet. I don't think it updates itself, you'd need to download updates manually. You can play online too but ONLY if you allow it, so, yeah, it is secure.

4. Now that's a lot, is not so simple to list them all here. But my favorites:
- Online matches
- Many characters in the same slot in select screen
- Animated portraits
- Different stages for the same character
- Different music for each round
- Different music for when a character has low health
- You can now make real secret / unlockable characters instead of just placing them out of the screen
- Better control over the arcade mode, (you can set the difficult, AI ramping, bosses, and much more)
- Score system
- Tag system
- Move list

5. Not that I'm aware...? I mean, a few things are different from MUGEN but, nothing to worry about like that...

6. That's a thing, because Ikemen GO specifically lags for me, there are times it's unplayable. My laptop is not that good tho, Intel Family HD, 4GB RAM. I heard from some people that it runs smooth and from others that it lags a little, so... I can't really tell what you need, sorry. Also the other Ikemen versions runs a little better in my laptop, maybe because I can disable OpenGL in those and can't in Ikemen GO.

7. Basically is the same as MUGEN for the most part. There are a few files that you'll be editing that are different but still easy to understand.

8. Well, FF is still the best tool even for Ikemen. Ikemen is not a completely different thing like people think (I thought it was too), they made everything very easy and very close to MUGEN.

So, I mostly come here to see news about mugen content, sometimes help people with code, etc. I like how organized everything is here and specially people here are very friendly. If the forum was gone for good at least we still have the discord server, of course the forum is way older and have a lot of history, helpful guides, and so on, but at least a good part of the members are in the discord server as well. Besides that, there is MFFA, I don't go there that often but still a good alternative to MFG, a lot of people from here are there too and is a good place to look for mugen resources.

I can say at least 70% of what I know about mugen I learned here in the forum, and also made some friends here, even with the alternatives I mentioned I'd be really sad if it was gone. :'(

You can try placing the code higher in the CMD, above everything else that the AI uses, even normal moves.

I just made a quick test to make sure it works and, yay, it works.

1. Pick an unused variable, recommended to pick a lower number (you'll see why), in my test I used var(2).
2. Go to your move in the CNS, at the very start, set this var to 1:

var(2) = 1
ignorehitpause = 1

3. Go to your CMD, add this to your triggers:

4. Go to your constants, look what number is your IntPersistIndex. If you don't have it, it will be 60 by default and you can leave it like this. What you want here is to have your var reset between rounds, so if you want var(2) to reset to 0, you need to set this to 3. All int variables from 3 to 59 will persist, but variables 0, 1 and 2 will reset.

That's it. There is probably a better way to reset a variable at the start of the round but I'm a little lazy to think right now lol. Anyway, this works fine.
