His damn readme file is in jibberish or something, I know the EX mode is there cuz I see the moves! I tried holding start and pressing various buttons, but to no avail....assistance please??

im trying to use Inverse's "Uptown Express" stage for MSH's Psylocke, but it wont work...I keep getting

Error message:
BG error reading stages/Express.def

Library error messages: Error reading sprite stages\Express.sff

I installed the stage and the music the correct way, I KNOW I did...but it still continues to crash my Mugen....help??

I found a fei-long thats pretty good, but his rekkakens are hard to combo together because the "reload" time from doing one is too slow to try to chain the rest together in a quick, smooth motion like its supposed to be done..can anyone tell me the coding or velocities or something for this or how would i go about fixing this?

Here I have Cyke's projectile sprites from X-Men CoTA. Im sharing these in hopes that someone will use them for the greater good in their character, and replace the lesser animated projectile sprites the folks at Capcom slapped on him in the Vs. series. Of course, this offering isnt without flaws...

1. For the mega/regular optic blast sprites i didnt know how to extend them longer, so any spriting geniuses out there, i hope you can still work with them

2. His floor richochet sprites are cut off at the bottom, i actually used Kawaks to rip these, and from my limited knowledge, i didnt know how to resize the screen or anything to try to capture the entire sprites..so sorry, once again, maybe these can be improvised with

...Other than that, they are already cut, modified into a .pcx format and original format, and i took the liberty of numbering them in animation order,  and classified them in their own folders ;D All the next person has to do is maybe resize them if needed or whatever and of course elongate the beams if needed as well...so the "hard work" is already done. Im still learning how to create characters, so thats why i havent placed these in an existing character or a edit of my own. Another small contribution, but if its appreciated then thats all that matters...enjoy!

I would LOVE to do Gambits voice, the guy that does his voice for the actual character did his voice for the last couple of seasons for the actual show, and if u ask me, the original guy (Chris Potter) should've lent his voice to the game at LEAST, his offering was much more smooth and authentic, befitting the Ragin Cajun's personality ;P Its just that its hard trying to make a clear conversion, because I record the sounds from my tv seasons collection of the show..and in a lot of clips theres either a lot of ambient background noise or music when he's talking, or when it IS quiet enough, he doesnt say anything that would be deemed combat worthy for adding to his character on Mugen. Im actually gonna rewatch the entire show and take notes of potentially good spots to record from, and ill do my best with an update in the near future.

I was bored yesterday, so I decided to rip the projectile sound effects from the 90's X-Men cartoon for Cyclops and Gambit, because I thought they sounded SOO much better and dynamic than the in-game counterparts. I haven't figured out how to apply the "throwing" sound to Gambit's Royal Flush, the animation where he continuously throws the cards...alas because im still a noob at coding  :P
These are not my handmade characters, Gambit is made by Luvly Angel and Cyclops is for Sunboy, respectively. The sounds aren't perfectly aligned to fit the animations but unless you are a trained "listener" then they are DAMN close, seriously. I know the sound for Cyclops' regular optic blast trails on for a few miliseconds than it should, but I think it sounds nice nonetheless  :)
I included the entire characters instead of just the sound files for those who are looking for the characters themselves, so pick and dissect as you choose. Well, this isnt a major contribution at all, but for those who are picky about little things such as sound effects for certain characters, then it might be up your alley.....ENJOY!!

sounds like a stellar project. i was wondering, are you going to make cyclops CoTA-perfect too? i never liked his beam animations past CoTA, especially his mega optic blast, because it looked too fake and lazy. in CoTa his beam animations were totally fluid and beautiful, even the beam-hit splash animations as well. i was just wanting to ask..cuz ive actually been trying to find a CoTA-perfect cyclops, and if it means i have to download your game (which im sure will be great) just to use him, ill do it in a heart beat! keep up the good work!

anyone have a decent gambit? the gambit from eternity of heroes feels laggy and has some bugs, and masta gambit's moves feel awkward. im just looking for the closest 1 to 1 replica of one of the VS series gambits possible. thanks in advance

ok so i replaced some voice clips of a character with another character's voice clips...now when i try to use him when it gets ready to load the fight, theres an error that says "Error message: Can't load kenshi.snd, Error loading chars/kenshin4/kenshin4.def, Error loading p1"...sooo....what the hell happened and how do i fix it???

can anyone tell me how to fix character sound effects? i just recently downloaded holy order sol, but his hit sfx and specials dont have sound or hit sparks, can anyone tell me how to add these to his file...also..how do i change the freakin damn difficulty of characters cuz some are hella cheap, im tryin to make my game as balanced and ENJOYABLE like a real fighting game

anyone have cyclops' optic blast sprites? i need the regular optic blast, sparks, mega optic blast, controllable optic blast, ricochet, and hit spark sprites? i have the sprites for the other games (Xmen vs Sf, Marvel vs SF, etc.) but i dont like them...they look fake and lack fluid animation and his mega optic blast looks like paper

how do u add pcx files to fighter factory or is there a step before that? all i really want to do is replace some sprites with new ones i made for an already-made mugen character.....also...the sprites that i want to replace will increase the animations for the character as well, so will i have to break him down and start from the ground up, or can i slide them in and save it?
