The development is going so fast, there's a lot of things to be done but expect it to be released in the beggining of next year, without big new features but with a lot of improvements. I'm looking for the last bug reports and suggestions, so I will try to do as much as possible.
I will start a campaign on Patreon, then people can support the development and help to get things done faster. The final objective is to be able to edit everything on the engine (chars, stages, motifs,...), on multiple engines (OpenBOR is on the way).

Key new features for the first release:
- split on modules with support for multiple engines
- slightly different way of CLSN handling (I think it's faster and easier)
- better support for frame interpolation, including timeline controls
- project file explorer (will be essential for full game development)
- opengl is mandatory, but software raster is available too
- updated to latest version of Qt framework
- hybrid parser/syntax highlighter (smarter, faster and more reliable)
- built-in image editor inside sprites editor
- multi-threaded (long tasks are split across all available cpu cores)
- import from another project can import from any supported engine too :D

Planned features for the second release:
- BGs editor (for stages and motifs, timeline-based editing of bg controllers)
- Better support to other engines like OpenBOR
- Full game editing
- Simulation mode (built-in lightweight implementation of Mugen finite state machine for faster development and debugging (breakpoints :D) )

About the source code, I will put everything on GitHub as planned before. The new version is a complete rework, so I do not finished all frameworks yet.

IKEMEN is an up and coming part of the MUGEN community, and I know since it's highly edited that it strays away from MUGEN's coding quite a lot. So any hope of getting more support or compatability for IKEMEN in the future?

QUICK QUESTION TO ANY TAKERS.

I JUST REALIZED AFTER A FEW DAYS OF TRYING I'M GARBAGE AT MAKING PORTS!!!! YAAAY

Hey guys, Rei's on hiatus for a while but I know quite a few dudes are having problems with configuring their joysticks. changing around buttons to work for your pad and stick are a little screwey. Obviously you need to go into config.ssz to start. It's already set up to work with joypads and sticks out of the box, the only issue is each joypad doesn't have the same layout so a button for my controller (a PS3 controller that I run through BetterDS3) would be different to someone else's (Say an arcade stick or a PS4 controller.) What you need to be aware of is that each number is mapped to a specific button on your controller. the first 4 will almost always be mapped to the directional buttons. and the last 6 are your punches and kicks. Now what order they're in, I can't really say, it's all about changing the numbers around until you get the button you want connected to the number you want, It really is all trial and error. I hope I helped out at least one person with this.

Most of you guys will probably just set up your own times to be online, but I will be setting up some times in the future for all takers to be in the Evolve Lobby. These times have yet to be determined but matches are guaranteed every Friday from 6pm-12pm until explicitly stated otherwise.

Okay so first and foremost, I admit wholheartedly that I hate Evolve with all my heart. But damn if it doesn't work like a charm!

There are guys and girls out there who don't know how this whole "External VPN Lobby thing works." Well, lemme see if I can help with that.

Okay so
step 1: Go here: https://www.evolvehq.com/client  and download the client by clicking on the big red button.
step 2: Don't install the client yet. Sign up for it before anything els. It'll make it easier later.
Step 3: Okay now get to installing it. Accept the Terms and Conditions. Eat some cheetos while you're waiting. The good stuff.
Step 4:Okay so hopefully you set up an account already.  Go ahead and log in.
Steo 5: And Tadah! You're set. Now go out there and go play stuff online or whatever.



SO next up is getting you guys working in the lobby. So here's what you're gonna do.
step 1: Go to the Evolve client.
step 2: If it's in your icon tray, right click the icon first, otherwise go to the big red Evolve button in the top left corner. Then go to friends.
step 3: Once the friends window comes up, go to the big red friends button in the top left and click on Add friend.
step 4: Then you must add me, enter my nickname: PNathaniel

step 5: After added, you're going to receive an invitation to the lobby from me.
step 6: As soon as you accept it, you'll be in the lobby and ready to play with anybody and errbody!

And the final step: To actually play somebody online!
step 1: Once in the lobby, you'll want to open up CVS-U, make sure it's the latest one, since it works best when everyone is on the same build (for obvious reasons)
step 2: On the right, you'll find a list of anyone and everyone online.  Onve you know who you're going to play, you'll have to do one of two things.
            A. Go to the Online Menu  in CVS-U and type in your opponent's IP address (located next to their Nickname)
            B. Go to Online Menu in CVS-U and then just press enter (That'll allow you to host the match)
            C. Once it's up and Running, It's on like Donkey Kong. You better not lose! Have fun


Any and all comments, questions, and concerns are welcome and will be answered in short order.

Feel free to post your Evolve Nicknames down below and I'll add you as friends and invite you to the lobby in short order as well!

Can't wait to see you all there! This is a really great project and it needs all the support it can get, plus I need some asses to kick online!

Sorry sorry, I took a nap...but I did upload new quotes for Dudley and I updated Skullos so at least you can solidy say two characters are completely done (barring revisions) I left out mirror matchups and am making a seperate file for any and all mirror matches I do because I'm really trying to put some extra thought into those. (Don't ask why)
