Hi guys is it also possible for just making the stage higher definition and to un-pixel it like vector style without altering and hanging objects on the stage?

Can it be also use anime backgrounds to turn into FG stages and making it like pixel art?

Additional on Arcade mode setting

-On Simultenous and Tag mode - Have an option to set a battle in a particular stage that the player can recruit beaten opponent and swap to current partner like SFEX3

-Have an Option to a particular stage that can SF33S that allow you to select path in a particular stage

-Team Building Mode you may build team recruiting defeated enemy, you may recruit up to 5. if you reach max you replace one of the five.

So its not all battle but individual stages

Is there a mugen like engine that implemented multi lane system like Guardian Heroes and Realbout?

A multi lane system with 2vs2 simul would be great I think theres a  Indie Fighted based on that gimmick but has lock-in mode

MSH and COTA maybe broken but those 2 games may have the considerable broken making the balance work kinda have a workaround to each other unlike the brokeness of MVC2 and XvSF which is high regarded today but if you look at the tier there is a huge gap that they result to ratio battle.

Unless were talking about Magneto COTA, which is a unusable character. Magneto MSH isnt that broken even with the Shield still present as a gem install.

I do have to say: I would have at least made Sabertooth, Rogue and Gambit playable as well...
...sure, they'd be just downports of their X-Men vs Street Fighter selves with any necessary balancing changes done, but hey, that's still something
and in the case of Rogue, it would mean more X-Men characters she can steal moves from  :mlol:

Sabertooth has Birdie because of the Marvel exec priorities, same thing we got Armored Spidey in MVSF and Metal Ironman on MVC1 because it's the time stark is using a remote controlled armor. Yeah Sabertooth, Rogue and Gambit should be playable because they directly interact and engage in a fight in the cartoons.

The special partners for MVC1 are for characters that doesn't directly fight in the cartoons like Jubilee, Jean and ProfX

They should have add Spiderman early as a secret character.

Spiderman was usual Xmen guest character in comics before Capcom had hold Xmen IP

Spidey has cross Xmen video games countless times from the snes, genesis, gb and the PSX activision XMen FG

As for Xmen characters

They should had gone with Sabertooth, Rogue and Gambit as early but it looks like Marvel Exec are the one that dictates the character in COTA since its more of a comic promotion for characters active in a saga that time but in Japan XMen 90s cartoons are the familiar and accessible to the masses than the 90s comicbooks becauseof import requirements

As for mechanics

MVC1 ExtraPartner would do wonders to XMen Cota like having other character like Cable, Jean, ProfX, Bishop, Jubilee, Forge, Mystique, Toad and etc that appeared in the cartoons.

-Arcade Mode with Coin-Op / Insert Coin Feature, that you can Continue
-Running Battle mode like in Pocket Fighters
-100 Kumite Mode like in STRevival GBA
-Survival Type Battle like in SFZ3 WorldTourMode
-Add Challenges on Arcade mode Fights like in SFZ3 WorldTour
-ArcadeMode style like SFEX3 where you can make your defeated opponent be your partner
-Bonus Game dedicated Fight Settings like having score system and timer. Something that Two Player can play at the same time.
-A wide screen mode for 10 player at a time like the fan game remake of Final Fight on YT


Most of this is I wanted a storymode feel on this on arcade mode that I could set the settings of each fight

Hey man I just saw your amazing works on twitter. SFV FANg and SF6 AKI together looks perfect togther. if you try to mix SF4 just lower the yellow hues. SF4 has strong Yellowish hues on their skin and sometimes the clothing

Do you guys already had an idea for Roll and Dodge Sprites Animation?
Don't know about the dodge, but for the roll I was thinking M.Bison could use his dash animation (the one where he flies forward with the cape)

regarding dodging

you might be interested how Gundam dodge in Gundam Battlemaster PSX

I think this is the best way Alpha Bison would  dodge since his floating when moving and grounded when static EXACTLY just like the Gundam in this game.

I slowed down some frames to show the dodge animation in slowmotion
