They're working the trailers by teams, and we still haven't seen another Kyokugen rep. They started the NFT/CYS team, Yuri, and King+Mai, so I can see the Mai trailer to end with the completed women team (then finish Yashiro's team) rather than leave 3 teams unfinished.

The comparison with XIV
Man, that Venom Strike is literally just a silhouette filled with a wavy surface. And they dropped the slash effects on her kicks. And I won't even talk about that haircut - sometimes I forget if XV is on the left or right side of that comparison. And when the fuck is SNK going to give up on making Surprise Rose a thing ?

I'm voting Whip and I'm thinking they removed the whip between her hands (hence the odd pose). She's the closest match for both the jacket and the hair (bottom of the hair is a 100% match). Presuming it's not a redesign, but I don't see who could get a new haircut like that without ruining the original design.

So it could possibly be King with a new haircut (the XIV one was god awful), Whip with no whip, Blue Mary with a jacket, Shermie with a new haircut, Elisabeth, Angel, it might also be Ash or Shion or... It'll be faster with a list of those it CAN'T be, like Goro and Choi.

for the Melty Blood story of Wallachia, yes. But if this new game starts with the TsukiRemake story, Nanaya, Red Arc, Nero (maybe) can still show up depending on how Nasu reshuffles everything between the routes and how forms like Red Arc are presented.
I just hope that Tohno Shiki doesn't have crap moves and Nanaya get the crazy moves. I'm okay with making only one Shiki if he's worth something. And then later on, an "awakened" Nanaya can get different things.

Tsukihime will be released this summer (and MB I imagine before the holidays maybe, but yes, this year), but apparently they said it'll only be the Near Side routes, although they'll give everyone stuff to do in those routes.
So, if this new MB doesn't spoil the Far Side characters that don't exist yet, and if they don't just reuse old characters, then it's quite likely they'll cut the roster hard. The website is proud to announce that "this new game features a cast of over 10 characters" sooooo yeah that sounds real bad for most of the cast, we're probably getting mostly the Near Side characters and just the heroines for the Far Side. I can't even tell if we'll get Kohaku and Hisui.
That said, you already know we'll get more updated versions whenever the Far Side comes out. And then more. And again.

You can't finish it.
It's pretty clear they threw the carnival and this attack on O Rugal together at the last minute to delay the collab, but it's still a big gap of absolutely nothing since, what, the Lady event rerun ?

If they removed Orochi and they end up not adding the Orochi versions of the NFT for one reason or another, then I don't know what they're going to even do with them. Just adding them back for the hell of it because of the demand ? Or will they take a new direction story-wise.

I was wondering about that. before Remake as in a story with the characters before the events of the Remake ? But we'll still get Tohno Shiki and presumably Nanaya Shiki and Satsuki and so on and they'll just not be in the story ? Are we going to see if Nero gets replaced and who takes his role, the new sword guy, before the remake comes out ?
(I'm assuming Remake still gets released after it)

Everyone expected the NFT to come back the second KoF XIV ending said that dead and erased people were getting revived, that was already canon.
