It doesn't resemble something Felo would make.

So, I can't sleep because I just got home from work. I actually have another character that's in my list of characters that I want to make because I like them. That character is the Cyborg from the Street Fighter II Movie.



Cyborg will be just as simple, perhaps simpler, as Ryu. He'll be an easy character to pick up and play. He'll have Ryu's Shinkuu Hadouken and EX Shinkuu Hadouken (which is the laser from Marvel vs. Capcom), but the projectiles will be colored yellow, like Cyber Akuma's moves. He'll also have the Shoryureppa.

Cyborg will be one of many characters that have strikers. In his case, his strikers are Cyber Akuma and Mecha Zangief from Marvel vs. Capcom.

I like the design...
If this character ever have the chance to exist, I would imagine her as a kicking character.
Mostly leg based thechniques + some slaps, elbows etc... Not the usual puncher.

-perhaps something like a "low spin" like Sakura's Haru Ichiban
-I would imagine some graceful mid air dive kick
-Perhaps some equivalent to Chun's hyakuretsukyaku.
-Something similar to Shermie Spiral with graceful landing.
-Ibuki's spin kicks (Tsumuji)
-Perhaps any throw by Sophitia (Holly Cracker)
-Some graceful somersault kick (Sophitia and Cassandra have some)
-Hip bump "peach style" or Mario "Ground Pound" but in a cute way.

These are my suggestions.
Curious to see a concept of her sprite based on this design if she ever exist in the future.

Those are not bad suggestions. However, I believe it would be more in-line with Rosalina's character if she were to use psychokinesis for her throws, magic from her wand utilizing the cursor from Super Mario Galaxy for punches, and ice skating-like graceful moves for kicks. I also believe that it would be more in-line with her character if she was a zoner, not a footsie.

So I'm at work, bored out of my brains and I've recently came up with some ideas for my version of Ryu and Evil Ryu, so here we go.

Normal Ryu
Normal Ryu will use moves from Street Fighter 2 and Street Fighter Alpha 3, as well as use special moves from Street Fighter 3 (mainly the Denjin Hadouken and the Joudan Sokutogeri), and Street Fighter IV (The Metsu Hadouken and the Metsu Shoryuken). I might add something from Street Fighter V, I know I want to use his stance from that game when he activates his Mu No Ken power bar, but I'm not sure on what else to add. He will have a EX version of the Shinkuu Tatsumaki, which will summon a tornado, and once the move ends, the opponent will spin, and will get dizzy once they land. His Justice move is the Metsu Shoryuken.


Evil Ryu

Evil Ryu will have most of Normal Ryu's moves, however, his collarbone breaker will be replaced with the Zugaihatsu, and his Joudan Sokutogeri will be replaced with the Ryukosai. He will also have the Denjin Hadouken from CvS2, the Zanku Hadoken from Marvel vs. Capcom in replacement of Normal Ryu's air Hadouken, and Shin Akuma's Mitsogi, much like Reu's Evil Ryu. He will have his SF4 self's Mesatsu Goshoryu as the EX version of that move. Evil Ryu will also have a custom super move that's based on Sean Matsuda's tackle move, and I have a general idea on how it's going to function. Once he activates the Satsui no Hadou as his rage bar activates, he will assume the stance of Reu's Evil Ryu once he's at maximum level. He will have a rage move, but I'm not sure on how it's going to function.

So I've been thinking about making Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy for quite some time. She's still under development, like Daisy.

First of all, this is what she is going to look like:



I already have an idea for her fighting style, which takes inspiration from ice skating.

I only came up with one special for her, which is shooting Star Bits out from her wand. This will be a relatively fast attack.

As for her super attacks, I did come up with 2: A shooting star shower, and a black hole.

This is about all I got for her. If you have any other ideas for her, feel free to give them to me here.

Commissioning: Remakes of various animations of Princess Daisy from the Super Mario franchise, as well as new animations for an entire sprite sheet of her.

Style: Capcom vs. SNK as a base with the wrinkles of King of Fighters and Street Fighter 3, and the art style and shading style of Japanese anime, primarily Highschool DXD. Her eyes should have a bit more shading, and they should have a anime-style outline around them, as well as a anime-style face.

So... I'm having a hard time sleeping because Ken has been on my mind, lately. So I thought I'd share a few ideas that I have for him, a few of which popped up out of nowhere.

Normal Ken

Normal Ken will be using moves from SFA3, MvC2, SF3, and SF4. Personally, I haven't seen anything worth using in SFV, so that's out of the picture. I also randomly came up with a 3-piece combo special move where it's a low roundhouse, a high roundhouse, and an axe kick, all with a flaming effect. His Tatsumaki will be more based on SFEX to make him stand out from Ryu, and speaking of SFEX, he will also inherent a kick from his Shippu Jinrai Kyaku from that particular franchise, mainly the one that launches the opponent into the air. This will be for his EX Shippu Jinrai Kyaku, where there will be more kicks added to it. I'll think of more original moves for him when I can.

Violent Ken

Violent Ken will be more based on his SvC Chaos incarnation, but he will still inherent traits from his normal self, like the air Hadouken from MvC22 and some of his original moves for example. He will have a special move that's based on the 2-piece combo, Hadouken, and stomp he did to Ryu in the SF2 movie.

It is always nice to see new game projects and even more so when they are personal and original concepts. I think the important thing in these cases is to be as constant as possible and move slowly.
By the way, these sprites look promising.  :thumbsup:

I appreciate that. I spent a lot of money on those sprites and I've spent months trying to come up with an art style for the game.

Hey, guys. Long time, no talk. So this has been in the works since 2018 (I believe), but I am officially making my own original indie game. Now, in this game, you play as a dragon named Kaji, who is on a personal journey to find his parents and home. He ends up joining with a group of bounty hunters and partners up with a fairy in hopes that he'll get to where he needs to go, and joins them on various bounty hunting missions and adventures.

Here's some concept art of Kaji himself, some of the side characters, some weapons, and an enemy he and the other hunters will be fighting.





Here is also a sprite of Kaji himself. This is part of a size and detail experiment me and the artist are conducting.



Now this game is going to be pretty big. Not AAA big, but pretty big. It's a 2D side scroller platformer with a combo system inspired by Marvel vs. Capcom and Devil May Cry, along with a skill-based experience points system, Beat-em-Up sections, world maps inspired by Super Mario Bros, and a continent map inspired by Secret of Mana and Demon’s Crest.

Now, how am I funding this monstrosity of a game? Well, it's mostly coming from my own paychecks. I have a Patreon, but no one seems to be interested in donating. That might change, however, as I do have some big plans for the Patreon. Decided to come back. That Ken stance is not bad per se. But the hands are incorrect. If anything, they're acting the same way as the Ryu stance.

Here's the story: My parents had a conversation with me about a lot of things, they've been finding out about a lot of the things that I've been doing behind their back and I have admitted about some of the things I did, one of them being fan games and MUGEN. Well they don't want me to do that because of the same reason a lot of people say: Making fan games is illegal and there is a risk in making them.

I've been trying to convince them to let me continue making fan games because I do firmly believe that they are more innocent than what most people believe them to be. But they know the copyright law by the letter, and if I were to explain to them about MUGEN and you guys, they'll think that I'm hanging out with a bunch of criminals and that will put me and them at risk.

So I'm sorry, but I've made the decision to leave, not only to protect myself, but protect them as well. That's why I left the Discord. All of my projects have been canceled, I'm not going to pass them to you, and I'm going to remove all the stages in my Mediafire.

Please don't lash out at them or me, they're only doing it in place of love and they want me safe and happy.

It's been fun while it lasted, but goodbye.

Normal Akuma

Normal Akuma uses mostly SFA/CvS2, SF3, SF4, and SFxTK moves with SF4 grabs. His EX Zanku Hadoken recoils him, however. His normal Shun Goku Satsu is based on the SF5 version, while the EX version is based on SF4 with the 4 kanji. He has Demon Armageddon as his rage move.

Shin Akuma

Shin Akuma has a few differences. His EX Zanku Hadoken is the Tenma Gozanku from his normal form, which as a super move is replaced with the MvC version. His Mesatsu Gou Hadou is replaced with the Agyo version from UMvC3. I would like to find more traits that will make Shin Akuma more powerful than Normal Akuma.

Oni

Oni has a combination of Shin Akuma's moves, normal Akuma's moves, and his own moves from SSF4 and Asura's Wrath. His Shun Goku Satsu is changed. Instead of Oni grabbing them and the screen going black, he instead either grabs them by the face or chokes them, and a beam of light rises from the ground much like Raven’s Instant Kill from Guilty Gear Xrd. If you managed to kill the opponent with the Shun Goku Satsu, they will still be in front of Oni, however the top of his gi is gone, and his gloves and prayer beads are gone, reminiscent to his actual design. Currently that's the only change I've got for Oni to display his power, I'm open for suggestions. His rage move is Tenchi Sokaigen.

What do you guys think of it so far? This is all I can come up with right now.

    

Ryu idea thread

Normal Ryu

For the most part, Ryu will have the same basic premise he always had since Street Fighter 2. He will use moves from SSF2X/CvS2 and SFA, as well as have SF3's Joudan Sokutogeri, and the Focus Attack from SF4. When he activates his Justice bar, his aura gives out a Mu No Ken vibe, and I'm thinking about giving him a kanji similar to Akuma's Mesatsu kanji for asthetics. His Justice move is the Shin Shoryuken.

Evil Ryu

Compared to Normal Ryu, Evil Ryu is going to be a different beast. For the most part, Evil Ryu has been depicted as a mere palette swap with some of Akuma's moves. That premise is kinda there, and he will inherit Akuma's lightning element for his Tatsumaki and fire element for his Shoryuken, but he will have moves from CvS2 and SSF4 to make him his own character, as well as inherit moves from other characters that will show his aggression and blood lust. For example I'm thinking about giving him Sean's tackle a-la Vyn's SF3 Evil Ryu. Some of Ryu's unique attacks and special attacks are going to be replaced, like the Collarbone Breaker with the Zugaihatsu, and the Joudan Sokutogeri with the Ryusokyaku. He will have the Shun Goku Satsu, and it's going to function in a combination of Akuma's SF5 version, Kage's version, and Iori Yagami's Chi no Busou. Akuma for silhouettes of Evil Ryu and the opponent appearing every time he hits an opponent, and Kage and Iori for the red background and the silhouettes. I'm not sure what his rage move will be, so be sure to give me suggestions for him.
