Heyyy, great to see updates from you man.

On the updates themselves, i really like the addition of modern moves and the new lvl3 evil portrait is damn cool.

Why the low res hitsparks though?, its like the one thing people do the most when they edit characters into your aesthetics bro.

Hey all,

Finished an update for this guy, among other things:

- Added time breaker
- Added lvl1 supers: shinku hadoken and shin shoryuken
- Misogi is now a lvl1 super
- Simplified system effects
- Lvl3 Hyper bg added
- Overall better coding
- Reduced filesize a bit
- Improved damage dampener
- Added super cancel
- Added Basic AI
- Rebalanced damage
- Removed just defend
- etc etc

1. The Hitsounds are still too soft for my liking.
2. His Supers lack hitsparks/sounds.
3. No Portrait thing for his Level 3?
4. You can infinite HP, Power Charge and EX Power Wave. A suggestion would be enabling cornerpush on the latter, lessening the poweradd slightly and somehow making it only possible during Time Breaker.

5. Trinity Geyser should be 2p/3p to be consistent with his EX Supers.
Edit: Might I suggest a cancel-into variant for the Overhead Kick, that you could Air Cancel with? Would be hella stylish.
Another Edit: I'm also weirded out by the Roll command, especially since there's no equivalent for 2K. I'd prefer you use 2P/K for throws while LP+LK is the roll.

Time Breaker is definitely the interesting part about this char, it's a rad combo tool.
One suggestion for it would be giving it startup invincibility like PotS Custom Combo.
I wonder if your next guy will have this.

Pretty much done with the update, last thing I added was this system feature, its my take on combo extenders like custom combo.

It slows down p2 by 30% for a while, as long as it connects

Feedback Time:

- Hitsparks could be bigger for specials and supers.
- Ryusenkyaku isn't an overhead? Not alot of purpose to it if it doesn't. Also why not give it the charged variant from SFV with plus frames?
- I may suggest adding Juggle Limits to specials as Light Shoryuken and Light Tatsumaki can cause infinites if they're repeated.
- Super Shinryuken is miles better than V-Trigger Shinryuken for the Power Cost because of the damage difference. One suggestion would be making VT Shinryuken launch a little at the end so you can juggle after it.
- No Guard Sound on Skuhachi.

The whole V thing just feels forced when he doesn't have a V-Gauge. I feel like Heat Rush would've been a more worthwhile V-Trigger.
I'm not too mad about the rest of him though, I like the fast Dodge Roll.

Update:

- V-Trigger Shinryuken lacks a fire sound.
- Shippu Jinrai Kyaku would be nice with the EX Tatsumaki Fire Spin FX for the Tatsu segment.

Noted. On the shinryukens though, the trigger version is a combo starter just like in sfv, the super version is a combo finisher. I would argue the trigger version is superior because of that.

Some more progress.

Added Air Hadoken from the vs series and dodge roll.

Last 3 screens are his supers: Lvl3 Shinryuken, Lvl2 Shinbu Messatsu and Lvl1 ShippuuJinraiKyaku.

The only move missing is his Air Throw.

Ken is the very first wip (of many) I announced and never finished so its probably time I do it,

Im emulating his SFV moveset since thats my favorite version of him. Of course Ill add my own twist here and there.
