Sorry, I couldn't do it in time, I wanted to make a big surprise for AF but I wasn't in my house during almost all past week. So, as a kind of apology, I started with this...


Yes, Slyck joins to T-Hoppy, Klaymen and HoboCop as my CF projects for 2024!!
By now, these 2 only have the basic movement (walk, crouch and jump) but I hope to make more during these months. About the other 2, Klaymen now has all punches and kicks based in part of his basic movements from The Neverhood (so now it's a fully functional char), and HoboCop also has the basic movement but has all his standing punches and one kick, also seeing how to make the basics (they're complicated to pass to MUGEN) but working on them

And yes, I still debt you the update of ClayFighter Ryu, I hope to make it during these weeks, wait for it ;)

Partly related to that news: SooA, the "Queen of KOF" got sick after the past SWA tournament and got into hospital. She's getting better, but probably will miss EVO... I know about her thanks to Twitter and her KOFXV gameplays and she's just awesome, I hope she get well soon

No at all, it is respectable. But in my case, I love the style, especially since Fatal Fury was always focused on american style since their beginnings, making the game with a comic/pop art style is something awesome and gives its own identity, something like Samurai Shodown did before with the ukyo-e style. In the end, all 3D models should be the same, but it's the style you gave them what makes them different. Maybe we can get something like that with a possible Art of Fighting game with japanese ink style a la SFIV...

O mejor aún, ya que ya estás graduado de videojuegos y sabes más de programación y quieres volver a MUGEN, podrías hacerlos desde 0, ahora no te debería costar nada rehacerlos con todo lo que sabes

Sorry guys, I can't ... I tried to move on from ClayFighter after what happened on September, but I can't, my mind is still on ClayFighter mode, especially after this guy remaking the Sculptor's Cut intro into full clay, so I've working on my projects during these weeks and maybe I can bring you something for April Fools...
Maybe Lucy?? An update to old HoboCop?? a ClayFighter Ken perhaps?? A bizarre version of one of my chars a la Orochi Sumo Santa?? Who knows :P
But one thing is sure, expect something unexpected for this AF... as well an update of ClayFighter Ryu, of course ;)

Another update to this thinking how I can revive this. Since the past poll was smashing, I think I can sink into IKEMEN Go to remake my fullgame there, I'll try to get it into this engine and then get you some new stuff ;)

I saw the trailers last night and I freaked out a lot. They're wonderful and the vibes of this game are so amazing, it's like SNK wanted to make the same thing that they did to SamSho2019 to difference from KOF series. That comic book style is the coolest I've seen since a lot of time ago (MvC3??) and good to see they're reusing the old concepts of the old MOTW2 to remake them into this. Personally I still prefer the first design of Joe's pupil but the actual look seems fresh to new generations and it's like a parallel to Isla in KOXV, also having her own versions of Joe's moves, loved it a lot.

Also, loved the new looks of Hotaru (now she seems more grownup) and Tizoc (loved the "long hair" feathers in his new mask, awesome), can't wait to see the other challengers, especially the ones that left from XV (Jenet and Gato) as well other returned chars from MOTW...

It was revealed more details about Toriyama's death... and more salt to the wound for all of us. In this article related the final letter Toriyama did before receiving an important prize for his contribution to anime industry. There's the intergral letter translated, but the final paragraph was the most heartbreaking of all. I can't copy it since the site can't let me do it, but he says something like: "Thanks for support me all of these years, but I'm not sure how much I can do since I'm not too confident about my health, but I'll try to do more of my works."

Yeah, it's heartbreaking (especially because he died days before reciving this prize and like a month before his birthday), but it's a good reading to understand what happened to him :mcry:

I saw the news before I get to sleep, and it was a strong news that just hit me hard this morning when I confirmed all is true.

I'm a Dragon Ball fan at heart and this hurt me a lot, he was part of my childhood and adolescence. My drawing style was strongly based on DBZ, I cosplayed various of his characters (mostly Yamcha and Android 17), even I tried to make one character for MUGEN (that AF char of Gohan Z2) and the plans of another one recreated (Saiyajin, one of the Akuma clones of Anti-Gouki Project)... not to mention all the figures, videogames, posters and other merchandising I got...

Yes, it hits me hard, one of my inspirations for life has gone forever. Rest in peace, Toriyama-sama :bigcry:
