I made some improvement on the screenpack
to allow SD/LD character to display the lifebar indicate at correct place.
request by one of my supportor.

and a workaround to add LD character but with some drawback

Simply don't use portraitscale for characters that were already made in HD resolution for mugen 1.0/1.1

The issue is the characters are too big even on Widescreen stages. Adjusting the localcoord makes them appear correctly in game, though the portraits are still too big.

Portrait scale = 1.0 for low-res char
portrait scale = 0.25 for HD char
try the number that works

EDIT 2: I'm using high res characters (Mostly OHMSBY & other authors characters) & noticed that when I use the 1280x720 localcoord, They're more smaller, The same for the portrait, How do I fix this?

OHMSBY style characters are Low res characters (programmer perspective). (high res sprites but scaled down to fit into low-res framework. their portrait use low res standard, aka they are using 320x240 localcoord, you can try download one of my char for compare.)
true high res character use 1280x720 or higher localcoord from the beginning.
this is no way to fix it. it was designed that way.

you can try change
xscale = 0.xxx
yscale = 0.xxx

 to
xscale = 1
yscale = 1
in cns file.

and change localcoord = 1280,720 in def file.
to try,

but it will break other codes.

Hi, how's it going? We wanted to know if it is possible to detect the Enemy, Partner or Parent/Root ID with HitOverride in the Helper when this same Helper is being hitted. This is possible?

A helper's own ID
or parent or root ID is easy.

there is no direct way to tell who hit the helper.

but the IKEMEN release folder only have template, there is no release to download

I downloaded using baidu , which is painfully slow.

These workarounds may fail when the localcoord conversion is something that needs floor instead of ceil, or vice-versa.

true. so far it worked.

in both 720p and 1080p

I have the same problem on my characters

it only having problem when im using a localcrood = 720p character on a 1080p mugen
on 720p mugen it's ok

ID always return correct ID. but the fall.envshake.ampl will alter it.

I got a workaround in all my 720p characters to make this to work.
is when set the ID.  I use ID * 2

when read the ID from a fall.envshake.ampl.  i use fall.envshake.ampl /2

ikemen go is good for Mugen character/stage/screen pack developer.

from a developer point of view.

IKEMEN go have but mugen don't have
1. see a bug
IKEMEN go: you can talk to develper and submit the bug and have a small chance it get fixed.
MUGEN: you have no one talk to.   you can only avoid the bug.

2. new features
Interactive stage (things can be broken for the stages)
native tag mode
3D stage support
net play
and a new language to write characters.
and more.
(but if you use the new feature, the character or stage won't be usable on mugen)

if your PC can't run Mugen 1.1 with openGL then you can't run IKEMEN.

usually it's not your PC is powerful enough but you forget to install the graphics card driver.
even you don't own a graphics card, you still have a graphics card in your CPU. it's call intergrated GPU.

you need update that GPU's driver to get openGL support.

a lot of people simply not install the intergrated GPU driver so they can't run openGL app, like Mugen 1.1 openGL mode or IKEMEN


uninstall your current display driver and install the latest and try
