Lemme give you some context for the whole Abe and comfort women stuff.

This guy was Shinzo's maternal grandpa:

The wikipedia article is a wild read, but the gist of it is that Kishi was a drunken rapist who basically enslaved the Chinese population under his control and ran the place as a concentration camp. Keep in mind this was some 20 years before li'l Shinzo was even born.The gringos had Kishi pegged as a class A war criminal, but he was released because they thought he'd be a useful ally against the commies. And he was, spending most of his life as an influential politician in the LDP.

So having all of this in mind, for Shinzo Abe to denounce Japan's crimes during WW2 was basically the same as denouncing his own grandpa, despite de fact the American occupation forces and the contemporary Japanese society pretty much never condemned his actions.

That's pretty fucking awkward. I would not trust a man who throws his own grandpa under the bus to appease to the international community, and I suspect neither would the average Japanese voter.

I liked these so much it got me looking how to pick up a random element from an array in command line, so I get a random one every time I fire ikemen from a shortcut.

Another collab with the resident Ikemen expert, Lasombra. This stage has the same interactivity as London (bouncing ropes and special ko animations), plus some additional elements: the camera man and the blad corner men will react to the fight.

I wasn't quite satisfied with the results either, which is why this piece was gathering dust in my drive since 2015 (the black bars are cool tho!).

Now that Ikemen's attached char is a thing, and interactive stages aren't a pain in the ass to implement anymore, the plan for the next version is to make the corners interactive objects so the stage can have normal camera boundaries, plus adding other cool things, like a bouncy mat and making the crowd react to KOs.

The simplest stage from Ring of Destruction/Slam Mastesr II. This is mostly a jumping off point for a more ambitious Ikemen release, I'd appreciate any feedback since I'd forgotten most of the things related to stage making in the last few years, and the stage may have some mistakes.

This is what I dreamt of. Our resident stage interaction guru, Lasombra Demon did all the heavy lifting to include all sort of interactivity to this release:

- You can bounce off from the ropes of the stage.
- You can trigger a special ko using special/super grabs.
- The crowd will react to the fight.

This is not a delayed AF's joke, the metadata on the files hint to slow updates over the years. It seems the older chars have received at least partial 1.0 support, but from what Google translate says it's not complete. The JoJo characters no longer have that graphic bug where p2 stand gauge is misaligned in 1.0 (still present in Ikemen though). KOF'94 Rugal might also be new?

Well no, or at least not as far as I am aware, but at the moment it just seemed like I'd be appropriate in a Capcom setting. Like if Yuri was an Alpha character I could see kara canceling that move to add transfer the momentum to shokoken or chou upper.

I was trying to kara cancel en yoku into saifa and found out that if you input hcb+P cho upper (!) will come out.

Funny that you mention that.

The reason I released this is because Lasombra's decision of using uneven sized portraits for his Ikemen edit of the same screenpack absolutely triggered me and made me remember I had this collecting dust in my HDD for years. Going by the file dates I made this around 2013 (older files were from Doorhenge's original release).

It doesn't have one. Since this screenpack does not have any bells and whistles like hidden characters it reads the default select.def from data/
