MK stages to compliment the MVC styled chars are very much needed good looks and I remember that youtube video
I think the same. It is rare to find MK stages with a cartoonish style. The few that I remember are from AVPboy, so having this seal of quality, they are well received.

The new Kombat Tomb, The Forest with the Monstrous Bones, The Temple invaded by roots and The Giant Skull floating on the Bloody Lake are stages that look very promising. :nuttrox:

@Scramble: The original level rips were made by Primortal. I just extended them and twisted to build new stages.

So this is a weird thing for me to mention because I can't recall this being a thing for any other stage I've ever had in my MUGEN, but after reaching a certain height, aerial attacks that would ordinarily have envshake suddenly lose them. I'm using the 1.1 zoom version for both stages, and I tested this with Trololo's Cody, Varo_hades edit of Gouken, DW's Hiryu and Buckus' Asura. It's a bit inconsistent from character to character, or maybe some of the others just don't reach the height and I'm not sure what, if anything, can be done about this, but I still feel like it was worth mentioning
If I understood correctly, I think you simply reach and exceed the limit of the stage with some chars.


I also update the first post with a Night Version of the Rooftop Threat Stage.

The stage looks great.
In the last image I see that you missed a detail, the drawing of the trees ends badly cut. Tthe ideal is to redraw the sprites, that is to say extend them and give a more natural finish.
