I, im using the old mugen linux and i like to run in demo mode to test if some char crash the mugen.

But a few chars dont start the fight, they keep in the initial position, and the demo of this fight never end because never start the fight.

What i need to change in these chars to resolve this bug?

I hope the creators dont host your stages with this adx sound without a option in mp3.
Im a mugen-linux user, and in linux the winamp plugins dont work.
But i dont need plugins because in my mugen linux dont have loop problems ;D
I just need sounds in mugen formats available...

I hope the creators respect the linux users.

I have more than 800 chars in a mugen game and i have the both mugen.exe (winmugen) and mugen (linux) in the same directory to play the same game in linux and window$ (window$ just in an emergency)

I can tell somethings:

1 - Dont have ANYTHING wrong in intro/end blank, almost all my chars have the storyboard in blank and it never make any problem...

2 - The linux mugen is CaSe SeNsItIvE. Its permited RYU.DEF, Ryu.Def, ryu.def, but the name and the line on .def must be in the same way... If the line in .def is Ryu.def and the file name is Ryu.DEF it will close the mugen because its diferent...

3 - Linux mugen dont accept ANY \, in ANY .def files (including select.def, fight.def, system.def and all others .def files) I have to convert ALL \ to /, because in winmugen only the .def of stages must be in /, in others .def could be \ OR /, but in linux no. I dont know why creators put \ if the winmugen accept \ or / and linux only / in all defs...

4 - I hope this help the creators to make chars REALLY compatible with linux, because they post "compatible with winmugen/linux" but forgot (or even dont know about) this 2 things...

5 - The strange is that some chars in winmugen show this error :Assert failure in array.h line xxx (this xxx are diferent numbers sometimes) but in linux they work whitout errors ???

What??

I don't get shutdowns here.  Every single error triggers a window pointing out the error...  and this includes .air problems...

Maybe you should try configuring your mugen.cfg...   I don't know...
Your mugen is winmugen? Because i have winmugen with XP and dont show NEVER...

I have more than 800 chars, and the most common problem in .air files to me was the number 1 missed. ex.:

Code:
Clsn2Default:
Clsn2[0] = X, X, X, X

And other problem is the wrong number. ex.:

Code:
Clsn2Default: 2
Clsn2[0] = X, X, X, X
Clsn2[1] = X, X, X, X
Clsn2[2] = X, X, X, X
Clsn2[3] = X, X, X, X

This erros was responsible for 90-95% of my .air conversions to Linux.

In linux is very easy to discovery whats wrong, because he tell in konsole EXACTLY whats the problem, the name of file with error and where is the line of problem ;D In few seconds you know what and where is the problem.

And when dont have any error but still dont work, he understand that must be updated (some chars made for first dos version) and tell you must read the update text to know how to updated the char, all in konsole...

For mugen, the linux is very more pratice than window$ (in winmugen, when have errors, he shutdown whitout tell what and where is wrong --;
