Been helping test out OHMSBY's characters in Ikemen GO and noticed that the animated character portraits like in pic related aren't consistently reading the xscale and yscale coordinates in character CNS files, resulting in cases where characters are way bigger or smaller than they should be.

There is a feature called portraitScale that could help with cases like this.
You need to add it to the def file of the char in the [info] area.

Google+ has been dead for years and thanks to that the Google+ thing does absolutely nothing.
It can be removed or hidden? Or is a forced thing of the forum software?

Yeah, that's not how the meme is used.

About using youtube links, this is a interesting topic.

On one hand one could monetize the views on Youtube.
But one can do the same and on personal blogs/sites via ads and Youtube does not force registrations or is intrusive like ad.fly
But the extra views can affect the algorithm
But that only matters if the video/channel is monetized on the first place.

Reading the posts... I think that maybe this has been blown out of proportion.

You coul try using 2880x2160 as your fullscreen resolution and disable "StageFit" in options to keep the 4:3 ratio you used and avoid the "streching" some stages could have.
I have never heard about the colours getting messed up. The colour pallete should look the same.

For Ubuntu you need to use build_cmpt.sh

The reason is because some debian based distros (like Ubuntu) does use a non-compatible libary header for some reason.
This is only for compilation, the binaries work and compile the same no matter with what you build it.

The previous versions did only compile on Ubuntu.
Things like Ach, Manajaro and Fedora based distros had problems with it so to fix it I had to make changes to make it work in both cases.

In short, you just need to run a diferent build file for Ubuntu.

En Mugen 1.1 las paletas también pueden tener transparencias, en FF puedes removerlas.
Haces click en el color de la paleta y configuras el 'alpha' a 255.

Ehh... La engine aun esa en beta.
El buffer de comandos necesita cambios y falta mejorar el online.

Si te puedes aguantar esas 2 cosas entonces si.

To make Legacy work on IKEMEN GO follow these steps.

Step 1
Download Ikemen GO from here:
https://ci.appveyor.com/project/Windblade-GR01/ikemen-go/build/artifacts
And extract it on a new folder.

Then open the engine once so it creates a save file.

Step 2
Open the config.json file inside the save folder and edit the values so you will have these:
Code:
	"GameWidth": 1280,
"GameHeight": 720,

Step 3
Download MUGEN Legacy and extract it over the Ikemen GO folder replacing the files.

Step 4 (Optional, recommended for low end machines)
Open system.def and remove this line:

logo.storyboard = INTRO.def ;Logo storyboard definition (optional)
It does remove the intro but it reduces RAM usage a lot.

Step 5
And now just open Ikemen GO and you will have Mugen Legacy working.

If you have problems with the setup just let me know and I'll do my best to help.

Ikemen GO se puede usar para uso comercial.
Esta bajo licencia MIT.

Lo que no puedes usar para uso comercial son los assets de Elecbyte. (El screen pack, las fonts que vienen por default y KFM)
Esos están bajo licencia "Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 3.0 Unported"
Así que si vas a lanzar un fullgame comercial tienes que remplazar esos.

It depends.
If you are planning to make a source accurate version of it when a good one already exist, it would be a little bit pointless.
But if you plan to add your own twist to it (Even if small) then there is not problem in making it.
Because what you are making is unique in your own way.

Mas que uso comercial de MUGEN, el problema es que hacer un juego de peleas es una cosa difícil y mas si vas por el 2D.
Ademas demora bastante tiempo.

Incluso si vas super rápido haciendo un personaje cada 3 meses (Cosa no muy realista, incluso el propio SNK demora mas)
En 2 años solo tendrías 8 personajes.

Currently the netcode is not made to support more than 2 players.
The netcode sends inputs.
And the input code is going to underwent heavy rework because the current implementation does not work as well as it could.

There also was a Shot 'em up style game that I can not find the name of right now.
