I mean the Aura Bird projectile in particular. Sorry for not clarifying initially. Her Angel Arrow special maybe fine, but she can only shoot one at a time before falling back down. So either way, that's covered. I'll be contacting you soon.

While a bit rough around the edges, you have something pretty solid here. I see the potential. All of my feedback would be quite a long read... So let me hit you with just a few that you should fix right away:

-Small jump attack landings cause debug flood
-Fire Bird Lv3 causes debug flood
-Your projectiles are not restricted properly. She has no limiter on them currently. Meaning she can infinitely spam them.
-Head.pos is misaligned
-Close HP has her at +17... Hit or blocked. She can pretty much do w/e she wants from this. Close normals usually do have better frame data, at the cost of damage, but that's a bit much.
-The slash fx on a lot of her sword attacks should play thru the animation. It looks weird how you make them pause, even w/o hitpause. It'd flow better just having them play out, even if they do go faster than her animation. I suppose having them pause on hit could stay if you really want.

I'd like to go in more depth and work with you on refining her. Are you on Discord? Would you mind working together there through DMs?

At first I was thrown off a bit by this, as it doesn't combo in CvS2. Though I've actually gotten used to it now and feels very "BnB" for me now. I'm on the side of keeping it.

You might be better off using something like... Chun-Li's projectile and coloring the frames different colors to emulate how Roses projectile changes colors.

Nice presentation with that vid. The EX "grab" does indeed look interesting. I suppose the damage it causes alone may make it worth using... Although, that move technically isn't a grab and is god awful in source. Did you make it so that the EX version actually works as a grab? I couldn't tell by the vid, because each time you used it, Doom was open for an attack anyway.

Trying to keep it to one character per request, but I'll split the difference and do 3 for Lilith and 3 for Morrigan if that's alright.  Both of their palette layouts are kind of a mess, but at least there's a template in there.

B-but... I spent like 2 weeks optimizing Lilith's color table! I was gonna do the same for Morrigan.... But the process is slow and tedious... And she has like, damn near double the amount of sprites Lilith has. Which of course makes it even more of a hassle. I tried to get away.... Though it's my own fault. :( It won't be any time soon... But, I will optimize Morrigan's as well. :gonk:

IDK if Zzy is planning on doing anymore AIs. Up to him. I would very much welcome the addition though.

So, I re-downloaded the characters to make sure I have the newest versions, and Kung Fu Man and Kung Fu Girl crash mugen

Just DL'd both of them and both versions, not having any errors. Looking at the error log, I think you have them defined wrong in your select.def:

Error loading chars/DivineKFM/DWKFM.def
Error loading chars/DivineKFG/DWKFG.def

This is not how these should be defined. The "DW" versions are their own stand alone. You wouldn't put "Divine[char]/DW[char].def". See what I'm saying? There's no need for a "/" def thing, all you have to do is put the same name as the folder there. So, if you're using the "DW" version, you'd just put "DW[char]" in the select.def. Same for the "Divine" versions. Idk why you mixed them together. There's also no need to have the "DW" version, if you're using Mugen 1.0 up.

That "flash" fx is on the sprites themselves for this set. No, it's not in her DS set I'm pretty sure, but is on these for some reason. I'd imagine it's because the sprites themselves were taken from Morrigan's set. Which is used for her super Silhouette Blade, where Lilith comes out of the ground and then disappears.  As li_kun didn't actually make a full set for Lilith.

I apologize for being busy with things when you sent these out several months ago. They all played very solid from what I remember though. Glad to see you were able to get them out. I really didn't plan on this, but Lilith has been updated. Her updates are as follows:

-"Pursuit Stomp" special added
-Air throw added
-(EX)Merry Spin can now be performed in the air
-True s.LK added
-Various new outfits for her "change clothes" winpose added
-New winpose added
-AI added(Thanks Zzyzzyxx)
-Color Separation optimized and pals updated
-Miscellaneous tweaks and ReadMe updated

As with the others with AI added to them, there is a "DW" version that retains her compatibility with Winmugen. The only difference is AI. This took longer than I wanted it to.... Mainly due to optimizing her CS. I suppose my sanity is a small price to pay...  :rolleyes4:

Very nice! That tail momentum is very smooth. If you make her gethits, you'd pretty much would be over halfway to a actual set. This could honestly be used for her jumps period. Though maybe you want to give her different anims based on back/forward momentum.

Morrigan not being in a game like this is not only a commercial failure, but a fundamental mistake. Chars like Morrigan and Ryu serve as basis chars for games such as this. "Go to" or well balanced, easy to pick up and play types. They serve as the cornerstone of which the game is built upon. All of the chars you have here are specialized chars. The closest well rounded char, would be Chun-Li, though she's of course, not well rounded.

I understand you might have done it for "variety" sake, but as I've explained, it's more to it than that. Chun-Li herself has appeared in many of these types of games for that same fundamental reason. She's also been in about every game that Morrigan has been in regards to crossovers, if not more. There's no way a char as good and popular as Morrigan wouldn't make the cut for a game like this commercially. Some food for thought. There's a reason why those chars don't get as much shine as Morrigan, they're honestly just not as good.
