It's been a while since I've done a brand new MUGEN project and this'll be my first one for the year. Fun fact; Nitori was actually the second character I had plans to make for MUGEN, but the pre-existing sprites at the time were extremely lacking in quality and I just skipped ahead to do Akyuu instead. Thankfully, RicePigeon's commission ultimately came through and gave us this wonderful sprite set that he's generous enough to share... well, except the in-game icon, I took it upon myself to draw it from hand.
I'll add her voice later, but if anyone has recommendations, I'd love to hear it.
All normals, most specials and and one super finished so far alongside all her basic stuff.
I've noticed that Nanase will be unable to use any of her A normals once she lands occasionally until P2 techs. I suspect it's likely a bug in the reverse beat coding. It does kinda get annoying because it'll take away my options unexpectedly in any event I drop a combo such as a reset.
That wouldn't work because you can't have a reversaldef and hitdef active in the same state. What you really want to go for is have the hitdef in the root's attack state and spawn a helper during the attack that possesses a reversaldef.
This is probably you best character yet, Kasumi reminds me of Soy Sauce's stuff in some regards of lenient and flexible combo routes/blockstrings. For a moment, I thought I found an infinite, but it's just a loop instead... it does contribute to the aforementioned combo routes at least. Only issue atm is that Kasumi will frequently whiff her DP+y and the last part of her x button rekka at the corner.
Edit: Just Defend recovers a massive amount of health at times, especially against multi-hits.
Edit 2: I can sometimes cancel hitstates into QCF+ x/y
Sure, I'd appreciate that, it would be ideal to have her JPN voicing actually. Most of the voice clips came from Re;Birth 1, yes. I think I remember getting a few from Megadimension and Super RPG as well.
