I know it's been said before.. but I've played 13 Kens out of the 20 matches I've played.  Last one I fought spammed heavy shoryuken, so I just blocked and grab punished him constantly.  He sent me a message calling me a "we are dumb fucks spamming this site for ten years cheater" after.  Good laughs were had.

I'm Eaux on PSN, so add me and we'll play.

the system is just weird, they just show you three persons at a time here, most of them with low connection, I found it easier to find good matches by turning interference on and going into a medium arcade run, I would get challenged even before I was into the first match.

I find it's easiest just to create a match and wait for someone to join.  Make them do all the work, essentially :P

I both doubt this and wish otherwise.  If they were to add characters, they should add quality ones; I don't want to see Faux-Capoeira boy and some native american who thinks he's an airplane(I know he's a hawk, it doesn't make him any less retarded looking).  Nonetheless, Capcom has stated that they won't have DLC characters, so do you have a source other than personal speculation?

The real reason why manga is selling less is because there is so much saturation in the market with shitty manga. I blame Tokyopop for licensing a shit load of crappy manga, and then doing a crappy job releasing them.
I've seen tons of my favorite anime torn to shreds thanks to TokyoPop; Darker Than Black and Jyu Oh Sei are the most noticeable.
The anime plots are perfect for manga form, so I don't see why they don't just follow it.  Licensing the story or getting directors' permission?  In any case, it has spewed out some of the worst shit I've ever read.

I'm on the same level as you.  I have it sitting in my cabinet; it waits for me to play it.  I just don't think it would be any fun if I didn't understand the COURAGEOUS YELLS OF HEROIC PILOTS WHO SAVE OUR UNIVERSE FROM THE UNCOUNTABLE AND INDEFEATABLE ENEMIES OF GOOD!

I never really liked GGPO.  It does have really good pings with everyone, but it's a pain in the ass when the game crashes on a consistent basis.

I'm sticking to 2DF.  I'm usually on in the SF3:3S room, look for eauxlune.

IIRC the X series was a theoretical story that never actually happened canonically.  I could be wrong on that though.  Its been a while since I've looked into the overall storyline.

Daisuke said this, and one idiot posted all over dustloop that X and XX were noncanonical, which is false.
What he meant was that it wasn't a really necessary part of the conflict as a whole, and was more of a sidestory, since they were all character driven plots.

If you're bored during SotC, that's part of the metaphor and your game experience is strangely enhanced, especially during the symbolic ending.

An excellent game that gets boring at times in my opinion was Musashi.  The gameplay was excellent and fun, yet having to listen to the story and run around in the spaceship made me yawn and feel bored/tired.



As for games I felt that were boring:
Musashi, for the reason stated above.
Geist: Great concept, but scaring soldiers with flying books is only fun a few times.
World of Warcraft: grindan, raidan, grindan, pvp grindan, pvp raidan, grindan, raidan, repeat
Fallout 3: Open sandbox with everything to do, yet nothing that I really wanted to do.  Rather boring, for me, at least.
Final Fantasy XII as well.  The game was fun.. but in the end it started playing itself.. which isn't too exciting.

Love Hina, Maison Ikkoku, and Kimagure Orange Road.

I doubt it will get a second season.  From what I remember, Suzuka was terribly animated.

I one hundred percent agree.  If a fan modded PC #Reload can work almost flawlessly with online, with only issues with people in other countries, then I don't see what the issue is.  I would love the online, even if I could only play people in my close region.

Playing some random person online is 10x better than playing Arcade and Training mode continuously, especially since no one on my campus takes 2Dfightan games seriously

Just play No More Heroes.  It's an actually fun game with a ridiculous storyline and fun lightsaber swordplay.  Controls are on par and it's just awesome on every level.  Only downside is that the sandbox elements aren't the greatest.

I can say that it's one of the very few Wii games that actual has fun controls.
