Due to temporary inconveniences, I leave the download of nappa fz almost finished. It is complete but it lacks some small arrangements and improvements. The other chars will take a little more time until I can continue them again, but at least I leave you to nappa.
It weighs 160 megabytes. You already know that you can use its sprites for other chars if you want. In the next chars there will be an update of this

Shallow stereotype isn't the same as shallow fanservice. Kusaregedo is not the same kind of shallow as Mina.
You're right, a shallow fanservice at least gives you something to look at on top of the boring stereotype.

Here's my attempt using Ryo as reference:



Are you trying to convert it from the SNK version or are you drawing it from scratch? It just seems like more effort than necessary, unless you're doing a total spritesheet conversion in bulk, like Falcon Rapper usually does. I resized it and drew over it to give it clean lines, then placed the shading at the bottom, lightsource on top, then referenced Ryo's sprite for everything else (antialiasing, etc...).

I'm converting him ( once again) from the snk sprites by using don drago's takua sprites. A you you know, i already made a full sff of Takuam even though with all his glitches and issues, I don't know for now if I feel and mange to make another full sff of Takuma, for now I redid the stance and some others lil stuff.

Eh Mina is fanservicey but shes far from the shallow type imo. She atleast has a story arc.

Speaking of, I remember seeing that SNK said that Mina survived her suicide attempt after killing Chample:s demon form and I guess that ties into his seal on his forehead, meaning she sealed the demon away at the cost of her eye I am guessing.


If we are gonna talk about characters who literally were made as shallow fanservice, just look no further than Iroha. Her whole character is designed to *be* fanservice.

 It's base on the sprite set being rotated. Chances are, you're calling an animation whose axis is set at the feet. Set a custom animation in your character's AIR file and use changeanim2 instead of changeanim to call it so you get the one whose axis is based entirely on the center of the body.

Support for 4 players fighting simultaneously locally (in 2vs2 versus co-op mode) was implemented at some point but due to problems with gamepads I've reverted this change for now (although probably will be back in future). Is this good enough or you meant something else here? btw. if you're requesting new triggers or sctrls please consider writing it using the above template. It took me more time to think about the trigger name that would fit here and writing the documentation than actually implementing it in engine.

Hmm..I mean't like, check if that particular player was playing through the client..the one you've made is definitely a keeper though, but it'd probably be something like this.

He has some more random intros, like killing Josh Geary and that old Gum Yoshi character and yelling about Quake 3, he has a few new hypers involving the french fry move, a new strange assist where a very hard hitting blue swirly thing flies by from this other Donald edit, and a cheap infinite wallbounce command normal that is DIO's roundhouse from the Capcom Jojo arcade game... And Dan Hibiki Toasties. Also Super Mario and DIO are RNG assists now.

Speaking of which, there's a new thing that Donalddesu pointed out which is in the next version of him: (When you have Ronald stand here for too long, his AI will suddenly activate in the blink of an eye).
