ok, so I made sure the characters I'm testing all have the stcommon=common1.cns , there was only 1 I had to change

I was having issues with adding those lines, as everytime I did it kept running into problems

you have to make sure all your characters stcommon is equal to common1.cns

if they already have an stcommon, just rename it to st(and whatever number isnt taken) and make sure stcommon=common1.cns

I was having issues with adding those lines, as everytime I did it kept running into problems

https://ci.appveyor.com/project/Windblade-GR01/ikemen-go is there a way to reenable legacy tag mode? I tried looking for it in the motif.lua as I saw in earlier posts but I couldn't locate it in this build. Can't seem to get add004 working without enabling it since the AI always takes over my partners and I would rather have it to make things a bit easier if possible

I've been trying to get characters to work with a current copy of Ikemen Go but their bars don't show up, unless I run them through add004 pie first, but then I have the issue with that being too old, so the black screen issue happens. Is there a newer version of the add004 pie? I never had to use it for my older version of Ikemen Go

unpatched characters just don't get lifebars otherwise


make sure your config.json looks like this in the commonstates section

   "CommonStates": [

make sure the regular tag.zss is not on there

are you coding for 1.0 (older) or 1.1?
code are different

need to use explod not changeanim
2nd
if 1.1
the BG picture need to be displayed on screen level not stage level.
screen level means, won't be affected by player or zoom
0 = the top of the screen, no matter how high the player is
trigger "Screenheight" will give you the value of bottom of the screen
since some one use 16:9 and some one use 4:3 so screen size is not a fixed value.
if you want to put it in middle of the screen you need
y = Floor(Screenheight*0.5)
if you want to put it at 20% of height
y = Floor(Screenheight*0.2)

use it in this way no matter player jump or zoom or change screenratio your BG won't be off placed.


stage level means normal. if 0 means ground where player is standing...


if 1.0 or older
the BG picture need to be use explod and postype need to be left or right back or front
but it will have problem when played in 1.1
when zoomed or change screen ratio it will be displayed wrongly.

FFU doesn't support 1.1 sprites iirc. I had the same problem trying to edit characters a while ago. The best thing you can do is switch to FF3 and get used to it, is the best version of FF in my opinion.

Can't we just have Hard 8 difficulty unlock all codes? I mean, if we go for the challenge, its better for us than to have to repeat the thing over and over on easier difficulties, right?

that would explain why lock 3 kept appearing in the end of the game on difficulty level 1 and 2

edit: I've unlocked all 8 characters and i've noticed there are 4 character spaces left, will 4 more be added?

Does an all-around blood mod exist? The kind that makes it so bloodless hits from characters now rains mortal kombat levels of blood just like those games used to? : )

or any mods for that matter which enhance the game in ways like that? For instance ive seen some say 'mugen is just a fighting game'.. Its not true, Ive found a few story-based mugen mini games like the fnaf or call of zombies mission-based games, So curious about mods too.

Hello, I have a little question here.
Currently I have a .sff file which can only be open by using FF3. When It comes to FFU, It goes blank like this.
I don't know If Fighter Factory Ultimate doesn't support this type of sprite or maybe the sprites are specially made for FF3. I have been used to editing stuff using FFU, so when I switched to FF3, It was really awkward and seemed like I'd never get used to it. Maybe saving sprites is related to this so I tried to save it to MUGEN 1.0 and MUGEN 1.1 and tried again on FFU, but it still got blank.

No because its coded on a per character basis. You can do it. But you have to make sure sprites for the motions are set up as well as that your addins don't reuse animations states helper ids or variables. Hence why there is no global code.

I based my Burai's level 3 over a video that I have seen on YouTube I forgot what it was. It looks better on BBBxSF since this one is the older one but I would love to see something like this on yours too!
