I would like learn the basics of programming throws. I have read some of the code of other characters but I do not know where to begin. An example would be nice ;D
Mugen's greatest creator, Street fighter's greatest character, my greatness is UNLIMITED!!

If you want an example, try KFM.

Make a hitdef with an ID number
Add a type = targetstatetriggered by trigger1 = numtarget([ID of your hitdef]) and a type = TargetBind
That targetstate is used to send the target in one of your own statedefs. That's called a custom gethit state.
So, create a statedef where the opponent will be doing what you want him to do. That is, make an animation he can display (have that animation use only the required sprites) and have him be positionned at the right spots at the right time. You can use targetbind in your character's "throwing" state instead of the "getting thrown" state you put the opponent in.
At the end of the custom gethit state, send the opponent to his own "flying away" or "lying down" state, with type = SelfState
If I struggled to the end of my determination, to the end of my way of life with my followers, if the result is ruin, then this ruin is inevitable. Grieve. Shed tears. But you cannot regret.
