QuoteQuitTrollinYou #evo2k Latif took out tokido, then daigo, the poongoko. Ladies and gentleman, we have found Captain America.

Quotea40oz4Breakfast Now I can proudly say I have fought against the runner-up of SSFIV AE: EVO CHAMPIONSHIP in an online match....and got destroyed #evo2k

QuoteB1gg_Randall Wow #Evo 2011 was hype all weekend...Thats why Fighting Game Community > Shooting Game Community =) #EVO2K

QuoteKingofSarus No Yun(s) in Top 3 for #SSFIVAE. You know what that means ladies and gentlemen? No more "Super Street Fighter IV: Yun Edition" jokes. #EVO2k

Quotetjlawrence EVO 2012 is set to be just as good, if not better, than 2011 with Street Fighter X Tekken, UMvC3 and Tekken Tag 2 on the horizon #evo2k

OH YES! Next EVO will be damn awesome!

EnlightendShadow

THAT WAS WAY TOO DAMN AWESOME!!!!  NOW I CAN SLEEP  ;D

Latif/MrSNK forfeit his SBO spot to the runner up team (Mike Ross/FChamp). And Fuudo has been playing tournaments in JP since vanilla, he was a virtua fighter player before that though. And this is Poongko's first year for American tournaments, he was mostly an online guy before.
you can't mixup a blind man, and you can't out think a brick ~skisonic
Street fighting is all about analysis, prediction, and reaction. That's it.

And he's Saudi.

Saltmine updated.  Shut up, I fell asleep during Blazblue and the start of MK woke me up.

GOH

Just finished watching some of the matches I missed on Youtube...

POONGKO WHY U DO THIS?! :qq:

Nonetheless, fuck yeah Daigo get off the fuckin chair, VF PLAYA HERE NOW.

And HOLY SHIT at that Tron comeback. Ffffffuck Phoenix bitch.

Tekken 6 finals were SNOOOOOORS.

Blazblue finals were dope. Spark rockin that Hakumen defense. D:

I feel extremelly empty after this ended, it's like when you're watching the world cup and it ends, you're just there... suddenly doing nothing.

Luckily for me this means I'm finally free to study what I was supposed to study the whole weekend, which means I wont sleep at all and stay more than 24 hours awake... and without coffee :gonk:

I wish to be there but it's so expensive!  :'(. This also made me want to buy SSFIVAE even more just to practice and become better. Who knows? Maybe I'll get an awesome Cody at the end of this year... and in 2012 I'll see how he get's the nerf pipe due to the planned rebalancing >_>.

So for the people who watched more than 2 EVOs, can someone tell me how good this one was? Because honestly, in my case it was really awesome, I regret not watching the BBCSII matches and watching them now it's kind of lame :P.

GOH

Isn't the free rebalance patch coming out before the end of the year?

rednavi -RETIRED

I thought so but the banner says 2012

And Ono always hinted towards the 2012 tentative date (As 2012 Edition).

Same. I didn't turn off the stream all weekend (I even slept with it on!!!). I think that was bad for my state of mind though, because now I just wanna play Street Fighter til I explode into hadoukens and sonic booms.

Girl you need to get out of that cabin and chill for a while at Bora Bora.

With me.

:smug:

The EVO after hours didn't help me at all, it was like a constant temptation to keep watching the matches :gonk:

I often sleep quite bad, 6 hours max and at odd hours but this weekend was even worse because of the timezone differences. Having Daigo VS Poongko in the after hours at 5 or 6AM in my country... = Must-not-sleep! X_X

Ended up sleeping at 7 or even 9 AM, luckily I didnt have to go to work this weekend :P

Atleast I dont have the tetris effect and dont see hadoukens or Hyper Combos everywhere :P

Hmm. That's weird.

http://shoryuken.com/2011/07/31/balance-patch-for-super-street-fighter-4-arcade-edition-before-years-end/

I can only guess that it's named like that because it's the version we'll be playing from 2012 to ahead, it's nothing odd actually. Imagine if Ono's wish comes true and we get a rebalance every year? :O

GOH

I guess. OH, I liked the TTT2 exhibition too. Lots of peeps going hype over the stages and shit. XD

DUBSTEP WOOMP WOOMP

And Harada was there too.

jafar

GOH

Yeah I saw that one.

Anyone noticed SSMB? ::)

rednavi -RETIRED

You mean SSBB? (Or maybe SSBM, dunno which one is) Yeah. That video is awesome, so many games. Im waiting for the Vanilla was awesome vid to be uploaded to YT aswell.

GOH

Fffuck. I always get that acronym mixed up. >_>

I'm Agent Norman Jayden, FBI.

I've always thought that these video game tournaments were by far the lamest thing ever dreamt up... But to each their own i suppose..
Gameboy Scorpion - 4%

SUPER SECRET STAGE - 0% ;)
