Help!

Okay, so I have installed a screenpack for my WinMugen; Ares Ax's screenpack to be exact. I installed the Mugen starterpack back in August, and went to put the characters from the starterpack in the select screen of this new one. And when I finally finish, the select screen doesn't fit in the window. I can't read .cfg files because I don't have the correct program, I have no money so I can't buy any programs that can read .cfg files, and I can't switch to Mugen 1.0 because no matter what I do, after five seconds the program goes into a big glitchy mess and crashes. All I want to do is to change Mugen's resolution.
Any way I can do that?

You can open CFG files with a text editor.  Try that.

Also Ares Ax's screenpack is low res IIRC, that might be your problem.

Now I have another problem. I have Winmugen Plus now, and now I want now is to basically change the screenpack to the Ares one. How do I do that without damaging Winmugen Plus?

Check the paths for your folders.  Make sure your mugen.cfg has the motif set to the screenpack you want.

One last thing I need help with. How exactly do I install characters onto this screenpack that I have gotten? I'm trying to install Dragon Claw onto there, but he's not appearing. Any way I can fix this?
